Rateger Inc. (Lexicon)

Rateger Inc was both in direct competition with Necrotech and working as a partner with them on various projects. Rateger also worked closely with Defense Research Corp on many projects. However with its failure to produce Project Jasmine, Defense Research Corp decided to remove its long standing ties with Rateger and go with Necrotech.
Rateger was initially commissioned $25 Million for the development of a delivery system for Agent 51. However, its budget was over extended by $5,356,943.35 and it fell into bankruptcy. At this point in time the Defense Research Corp withdrew its funding to the project. The Defense Research Corp then moved its project to Necrotech; however, Rateger claimed that the research was intellectual property of Rateger. This left Necrotech with no starting point and a hard deadline to meet. Necrotech finally bought the research off Rateger after lengthy negotiations. Rateger settled for $6.3 Million which covered its debts and allowed for it to continue to function.
When the infection broke out in Malton, Rateger's personnel were requested to help with Quarantine and to join the Quarantine Force. This request was headed by General Aaron under the guide lines of Necrotech emergency plan.
