| Adding Data Guidelines |
| 1. Use ~~~~ to sign your entries in the Sig field. If the data was not collected on the day it was recorded, use ~~~~ anyway, and then edit the date once you've saved it. |
| 2. Always check your data to ensure that it is accurate before posting. Make sure you add up all your items + nothing searches to ensure that it matches up to the total number of searches you've recorded. Data that doesn't add up can't be used in data analyses, so try to make sure it's all accurate. |
| 3. Ammunition level of found firearms is recorded in separate column for sake of easier processing. For example use Pistol (N) column for number of found pistols and Pistol (Q) for their quality (ammunition level). |

Analysis
- Based on data available up to 26/8/2007, searching in a lighted non-ransacked hospital yields First Aid kits (18.5%) and Newspapers (7.3%). Searching in a non-lighted non-ransacked hospital yields First Aid kits (12.6%) and Newspapers (4.9%).
- On average, this means after entering the hospital, you need to have 7 AP and 9 AP left to search in the lighted or non-lighted hospital respectively. This calculation is important if you stand up infected after a revive, lack a FAK to immediately heal yourself and are in a suburb where you can't depend on FAK's from strangers.

Data Table (After 14 October 2008)
Sometime before 14 October 2008 odds of finding FAK in Mall drug stores was dramatically reduced. Anecdotally, some people claim to have observed a corresponding increase in odds of finding FAKs in hospitals. Thus, a new table. Note that the first few days, no newspapers were found and there was a corresponding increase in the number of FAK found. That came to an end, however. Coincidence or temporary game change? Only Kevan knows.
