Description
Sleway Row Police Department is a hardened VSB safe house in NE Danversbank. It is maintained by the Danversbank Armed Militia and the Danversbank Relief and Reconstruction Project in order to provide a tactical resource point for survivors whithout the Free Running ability. It is maintained in accordance with the Provisional Danversbank Barricade Plan. Sleway Row PD is usually very strongly barricaded due to proximity to Fort Perryn. Whenever possible, Sleway Row PD is kept open at VSB+2 to permit access by beginning survivors who have not yet purchased the Free Running ability.
NB: For survivors with Free Running when the PD is HB ability the entry points for this PD are usually the Sever Building (1NW) and Hillard Road PD (1NW 1W). However these entry points are outside Danversbank and thus not maintained by the DRRP. They are frequently overbarricaded so please take care to have sufficient APs to reach a suitable entry point - it is not advisable to sleep outside in NE Danversbank. Percival Street Fire Station (located 1S 1SE) and Lea Avenue Fire Station (located 2S 1SW) are maintained by the DRRP as emergency entry points for those in trouble.
NB: Survivors who do not have Free Running ability while the PD is HB should use one of the other PDs in the area e.g. Voss Lane Police Department (located 5S 1SW) is also maintained by the Danversbank Armed Militia and the DRRP although barricade levels do fluctuate dependent upon zombie weather.
History
In pre-plague Malton a duty assignment at Sleway Row was considered by police officers to be a cushy but boring job due to the relative isolation of the PD. In recent times the PD was an isolated target for the zombie hordes hiding in Fort Perryn. Only the bravest and/or most foolhardy survivors chose to spend significant time at Sleway Row PD.
As of summer 2007 there has been a change of fortunes at Sleway Row. Zombie activity is reduced and generators / barricades have been known to survive for more than 24 hours.

02nd September 2007 - The PD is quiet by comparison to Voss Lane Police Department in south Danversbank and Hillard Road Police Department just over the border in Scarletwood. --R33F3RM4N 23:43, 2 September 2007 (BST)
8th August 2007 - Sleway Row PD is dangerous at present due to griefers and zombies from the Extinction group attacking survivors in the vicinity of The Knyaston Building. Survivors are urged to plan their moves accordingly and to avoid sleeping in the PD. -- R33F3RM4N 23:28, 8 August 2007 (BST)
22nd February 2007 - After the recent chaos Sleway Row PD has been reopened and powered although this may not last. Barricade levels will probably fluctuate according to threat levels. Ideally VSB+2 will be maintained but please save APs in case of emergency.
07th February 2007 - The Danversbank Relief and Reconstruction Project have decided to lower the Sleway Row PD barricade level down to VSB+2 to encourage use by beginning survivors. If the situation in the NE of the suburb degenerates significantly then the barricade level will be raised back to EHB.
