These are the Allies of the South Paynterton Aces. Golden Empire and the Paynterton Pact In the early days of the Aces, The Mongolian Horde shared their forums with a number of other local groups who were allied in a loose confederacy known as the Golden Empire. While the group had the lofty goal of uniting all of Malton's survivor groups, it really only succeeded in uniting the groups of Paynterton, which was in itself no mean feat. Over time these groups died off, leaving only the Aces, the Horde, and (To the) Four Winds as the surviving members. Among those groups, only the Horde and the Aces were still active in Paynterton, and so the term "Golden Empire" didn't hold a lot of water. A heavy shake-up caused by the Big Bash II led to the formation of a second alliance, known as the Paynterton Pact (and sometimes referred to as the Paynterton Pals or the New Golden Empire). This alliance included original Golden Empire groups the Mongolian Horde and the South Paynterton Aces, and added newcomers Leo Emergency Medical Response and PKers-turned-survivors the Paynterton Saints. While some groups in the alliance are more active than others, the spirit of cooperation between them remains high. The Aces are also fortunate to hold alliances with a number of other groups, both in our suburbs of Paynterton and Starlingtown and out in Malton at large. If you're a survivor group and you think you'd like to be friends with the Aces, just let us know -- we're always glad to have friends.
