St. Polycarp's Hospital

Description

A four-story yellow-stone building flanked by evergreen trees.

History

One of two hospitals operating in Gulsonside, St. Polycarp's was a children's hospital renowned for it's high quality care and several bright murals of swimming fish across the walls. They can scarcely be seen now, covered with many layers of blood and sticky gore. The other location is Zacharias General Hospital.

Barricade Policy

St. Polycarp's Hospital should be kept at VSB 2+ for free-running access and new players.

August 10, 2008 - St. Polycarp's is back at VSB, with a generator up and everything. I personally intend to start running the place over the next couple days; we'll see how that goes. I'll edit the wiki with more information if this trial period goes well. Inkfingers 06:23, 10 August 2008 (BST)

July 27, 2008 - Over-barricaded, no-one can enter from the street. Full of survivors, no zeds in sight. Someone should probably tear down those barricades. I nearly died as I couldn't get in from the street (nearby buildings are also 'caded, its a long free running walk.) Linkthewindow 01:01, 27 July 2008 (BST)

June 27, 2008 - St. Polycarp's at VSB. No zombies in sight, Lots of survivors in hospital. Generator fully fueled and radio transmitter. User: Jedi Kit June 27, 2008

May 31, 2008 - St. Polycarp's at EHB. No zombies in sight. Quite quiet at the moment. Generator fully fueled up at the moment. The Cockell Building is an entry point via free running. As a sideline may I recommend that we work to maintain this hospital in Gulsonside, and become part of the Malton Hospitals Group. Who knows? When it's safe we could set up a medical school... Wavey 15.02, 31 May 2008 (GMT)

April 29, 2008 - The building was retaken, only a few survivors inside enough to hold zeds off. Only a few wandering zombies outside. Could get messy... freebiewitz 7:12 april 2008 (aus time)

March 10, 2008 - St. Polycarp's was QSB with a running generator this evening. It'd be nice to have it VSB, but this is the best I've seen it in a while... Stelio 21:24, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

May 15, 2007 - St. Polycarp's completely ransacked and home to about 7 zombies inside and 4 outside... The Lotus 06:22, 29 February 2008 (BST)

September 10, 2006 - In other news, I made a run to St. Polycarp Hospital, NW of the mall. It is manned and operating, and a good place to grab FAKs. It can be reached by free running, though some of the buildings in transit are under-manned and under-barricaded a bit. I will be making regular runs there for FAKs. However, I don't have Diagnosis yet so be sure to find me in the SW corner (usually, but not tonight) and leave me a message. I'm also carrying radios tuned to 26.46, 26.16, and 27.86 if you want to reach me that way. Colonel al
