Suggestion description
Click on the contact list page. Can you tell me which character's contact list that is? Here's a hint- its the character you are currently logged into. It really would be a simple matter to have that character's name up at the top, wouldn't it? It may not seem needed, but it is in fact possible to accidentally load the wrong contact list, because http://www.urbandead.com/contacts.cgi and http://urbandead.com/contacts.cgi can in fact take you to two different contact lists.
A lot of people use "hot links" to profiles from forums and such to add contacts to their contact list, and if the link doesn't match the url the player used to log in, it doesn't work. What a hassle. Having your name on your contact list would make it obvious when this happens.

Now, click on this profile. Again- why doesn't this tell you what character you are logged in as? Wouldn't it be nice if the title bar up top said "Bub - Level 20 Zombie - as viewed by Your Character Name"?

So, that's the suggestion. Two small changes, fewer small headaches.

    Its not a (just) a matter of not remembering. Sometimes you get cookies and stuff that gum up the works, so when you open a profile, it gets added to the wrong contact list. And for the record, I do have a few more alts than most folks- and they are very much not on the same team, so I don't want to mix up their contacts! ... 02:42, 23 June 2007 (BST)

  13. Keep/Simpifly - Yep, it'd be useful for the contacts page to state which character it belongs to at the top. When you view another player's profile, if said "Add to [character_name]'s contact list" you could see who you were adding it to. armareum 18:48, 23 June 2007 (BST)
