20070726 Upgraded Ankle grab

Doc Crook 22:27, 26 July 2007 (BST)

Suggestion type
Revision / maybe new skill

Suggestion scope
Who knows

Suggestion description
Reason:Improperly named.

This skill allows you to stand up for 1 Ap. Why is it called 'Ankle grab' if you do not grab an ankle? Grabbing your own foot doesnt help you stand up any faster. Might need to be renamed.

Suggestion:
If the zombie dies, it has the chance to lay there. It could then grab somebody and take a bite out of them. It only works if you were a zombie and you die again. (Idea from: Every resident evil game ever made.)

Keep Votes

  1. Keep - It might be a dupe, but the part about revision is the true meaning of this. -Doc Crook 22:27, 26 July 2007 (BST)
  2. Keep/Change - I like your idea. The 'ambush zombie' as they are called are the smarter ones of the horde, but I think this needs to be changed. It's basically just standing up and attacking, but using 1 AP instead. I think that if one was to grab a passing human, that human wouldn't be able to escape until the zombie loses its grip as in tangling grasp, which this should also be added to. They'd get a 10% increase to hit, as in tangling grasp. Ahah! This should be added to the tangling grasp tree! I'm a genious! That's my two cents.--CORN! 22:50, 26 July 2007

Kill Votes

  1. kill but only cos there isn't really a suggestion here. I am all for a boost to ankle grab and my prefered one would be a very considerable bonus on an attack from that position (ie attack as you stand up at +30% or something) wouldn't really matter how big the bonus was cos i don't think i have ever "woken up" with a survivor in the same spot! --Honestmistake 00:33, 27 July 2007 (BST)
  2. KillWho cares what the skill is called.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Timo 1 (talkcontribs) at an unknown time.

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. Spam - Incoherent and pointless. It could be called "Flipping Flapjacks" and it wouldn't matter. The point is, zombies die almost every day, and paying 1O more AP to stand up than they do now ain't gonna be offset by any attack bonus, so they need a quick-stand skill. . . . swiers BigEYEwitnessLOGO.png 23:57, 26 July 2007 (BST)
  2. What is in a name?(pointless) - A skill by any other name would still rot as sweet.--Karekmaps?! 00:00, 27 July 2007 (BST)
  3. Spam - As swiers. The name doesn't matter, and the whole "bite" part is not explained at all. Expand a little more, please. --Vault 00:03, 27 July 2007 (BST)
  4. Spam - The first sentence of Swiers' vote sums up my opinion. 'arm. 00:41, 27 July 2007 (BST)
