So I found myself in eternal sleep this morning after a night of trying to keep St. Columbanu's barricades up and telling the inhabitants to move elsewhere. I moved to the carpark/revive point - a revive would be very much appreciated. I have a couple things to say about the situation in the area, but I think I'll wait until we all have access to that MCV forum. --KickAxeJack 16:03, 24 March 2006 (GMT)

Got ya. Welcome back to the living. --Gimmic 17:00, 24 March 2006 (GMT)
Still no word on the password. Guess Celt is busy these days. --A big strong fireman 17:30, 24 March 2006 (GMT)
Thanks! I kind of moved to Ackland Mall. I figured I'm a bit useless holding just a pistol and a fireaxe. --KickAxeJack 16:30, 25 March 2006 (GMT)

Songs moved to the Sebright Museum room on the Molebank board--A big strong fireman 20:14, 24 March 2006 (GMT)

A couple of things: First, if you can, try to find a phone. I've rarely needed mine, but, when I do, I sure have been grateful for it.

Second, Celt, leader of the Molebank Citizen Volunteers, has offered to set up a secure room for us on that group's board. This could come in handy if we ever want to plan anything secretly. What do you all think? If you agree that this would be a good plan, let me know here, and I'll ask Celt to go ahead and get the room up and running. When he has, I'll post the news here, and you can register at [1], PM me there, and I'll give you the password.

KickAxeJack and Wifey, I see you've already signed up (Dolphin is a longtime member). KAJ, you might want to ask Celt to designate you a "trusted ally." I also just proclaimed myself a member of the Sebright Union there--both of you want to do the same? --A big strong fireman 21:55, 22 March 2006 (GMT)

I currently don't have a mobile, but if we were to use MCV's forum instead, contacting each other would be much easier and save some AP. I understand there are limitations to this - contacting people outside of our group and members who may rarely visit forums. Also, I have just sent a pm to celt on the MCV forums to become a "Trusted Ally" --KickAxeJack 19:35, 23 March 2006 (GMT)
Yeah, KAJ, the MCV board will work well for keeping in touch, but I like to have the mobile just in case. It's not vital to have one, of course. I'm waiting now for Celt to give me the password to our room; I'll pass it along as soon as I can.--A big strong fireman 20:22, 23 March 2006 (GMT)

A fresh talk page for us to vandalize. I've made most(if not all) of the needed ninja-edits to pages across the wiki to keep things uniform. In addition, I've added a 'Contacts' section to the main page and moved our associates ID links to that section. If you know of any other regulars or people that should be on our contact list.. feel free to add them in. Please remember to sign all edits/posts. --Gimmic 15:29, 21 March 2006 (GMT)

Did someone say vandalize?
Somebody has spraypainted Searched the Auto Repair 30 times and all I got were 6 lousy spraycans. onto a wall. --KickAxeJack 18:12, 2 April 2006 (BST)

???

You said talk on the wiki is this it im confused :P

Yes, this is more or less an ancient way of communicating to each other on the wiki. I had to figure out how this all worked last week, but a bit of experience in html helped. You can join the MCV forum as mentioned above for a much less confusing discussion board; we now have access to our private forum. Also, there's a signature button in the editing tools above, just so we know who asked :) --KickAxeJack 16:27, 25 March 2006 (GMT)

Recruitment reminder

Your ad on the recruitment page expires on 3/30, please update before that time to avoid removal of the ad.

Thanks,

--John Rove 10:40, 29 March 2006 (BST)

The notice is appriciated- Updated the timestamp. --Gimmic 18:39, 29 March 2006 (BST)
Guess you didn't notice I'd already taken care of it, Gimmic. No matter. --A big strong fireman 20:45, 29 March 2006 (BST)
Guess I could have bothered reading the timestamp before i updated it. Damned by the details, doh.--Gimmic 00:48, 30 March 2006 (BST)
Yeah, well, you at least had the courtesy to thank Mr. Rove for reminding us, something that didn't occur to me, so you definitely win on the manners front. --A big strong fireman 17:01, 30 March 2006 (BST)

If you could shorten your ad just a little it would be appreciated, it is currently 213 words, just above the 200 word limit. I wanted to give you notice so you can fix it. If it is not fixed, it will be shortened by removing all words in excess of 200. --John Rove 03:17, 6 April 2006 (BST)

Axed a portion of the recruitment ad and it should now be well below the 200 character limit. Axed Portion contained: "Hey--there's nothing tremendously sexy about this group. We do what any sensible people seeking to survive a zombie apocalypse would do; so pretty much it's just kill, 'cade, and cure day in, day out. But it's nice to be able to exchange a pleasant word with like-minded acquaintances at the end of the day, and there's a pub nearby where we've been known to retire for a day or two of carousing when the routine gets too tedious. Mostly it's just the same old grind. You know how it is, and, if you don't, you should come check us out. " May work into main page later. --Gimmic 17:50, 6 April 2006 (BST)

Your ad on the recruitment page is about to expire, please update within 48 hours to avoid removal. Thanks, --John Rove 21:56, 11 April 2006 (BST)

Thanks for the reminder; sorry we didn't respond to it in time. A new recruitment ad has been posted.--A big strong fireman 17:20, 16 April 2006 (BST)

Cordial greetings from the Knights of St. Jude

Your group has come to my attention though our mutual allies the Molebank Citizen Volunteers. I'm here to extend an offer of friendship to your noble Union. If you want more info on the Knights of St. Jude you can visit our [[KoSJ|wiki] page. Also drop by our forums if you have the time (linked on our wiki page). Mostly, we're interested in getting to know the friendly survivor groups of the area, since our hermit crab approach to diplomacy hasn't been serving us all that well. Hope to hear from you. --Jonny America 18:43, 8 May 2006 (BST)

Y halo thar. I already spam your forums. ;)--Wifey 19:00, 8 May 2006 (BST)
Your fame precedes you, sir. I feel like we've been visited by a foreign dignitary. As a simple fireman, I barely know how to respond, except to say that it is an honor to meet you, and I'm sure we all look forward to fruitful collaborations to come. I, for one, plan to make your board a frequent stop henceforth.--A big strong fireman 19:08, 11 May 2006 (BST)

Pardon my squirrely ignorance, but...

How does barricading every building in an entire suburb past QSB make any sense? Unless you're a Death Cultist group, this is incredibly stupid. Anyone caught outside in this suburb will be killed by the zombies milling around. Good work. -Wyn (talk!) 09:16, 1 June 2006 (BST)

Wyndallin, there are actually a great many buildings at VS+2 and lower in the suburb. We're quite careful about that, in fact. If you had the misfortune not to find one when you visited, well, I'm sorry, but you must either have not looked terribly hard or had rotten luck.--A big strong fireman 14:23, 2 June 2006 (BST)
Barricading any building to QSB or less is foolish. VSB +2 is the maximum at which people can still enter. And we have plenty of those. Did you honestly not know that you can enter a very strongly barricaded building? I would have to say, that is squirrely ignorance. Good work.--Wifey 02:49, 4 June 2006 (BST)
Hear, hear! --A big strong fireman 17:48, 5 June 2006 (BST)
Maybe we should post the barricade plan here (ie. on our wiki page) so that newbies know where the VS buildings are?Duglis 20:45, 7 June 2006 (BST)

Sebright Union Recruitment Advert

Easy copy-paste code for the recruitment section. Kept here for recovery. Edit this section.

Sebright Union

SUlogo.jpg No more than a bunch of people who ended up at the same place at the same time. Nothing makes a location 'home' faster than having to fight for it.

Membership is open to those willing to help; leadership is communal. We tend to focus on protecting the area around the Sebright Museum (especially the PD, the hospitals, and the NT buildings) and improving Lerwill Heights at large, although we willingly help our neighbors when not too preoccupied with defending our home turf. If you want to join, register on the MCV board ([2]); then post a message (including a link to your profile) in the "Recruiting--Sebright Union" thread on the Lerwill Heights sub-board and ask to be inducted into the group. Once you're registered, you will contacted with further instructions.

The Union forever!
