"There are n zombies in your group here"

| Description: | When it says "There are m zombies here- you recognize...." it always makes me wonder, well, those zombies I don't recognize, are they members of my group I don't have contact listed? So I suggest that the description should be changed to "There are m other zombies here, and n of them are in your group".
This would make things a bit more fun for members of zombie groups, and reduce the amount of metagaming the are forced to do. However, this change would apply both when you were alive and when you were dead. Thus it would be quite helpful to survivors also- whenever you go to a revive point, you would immediately know how many of the zombies there were from your group, even if they were not among your contacts! How to justify this in flavor terms? I dunno, a LOT of the survivor groups in the game have uniforms and such, so that seems OBVIOUS. Maybe even zombies are starting to wear "colors", in imitation of all the survivor gangs running around. |

I would make scent death a requirement of this. Otherwise, I like it. Some people would argue that Scent Death already does this, but that only shows the largest concentration nearby, doesn't it?--Grigori 05:13, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, that is how scent death works, and it fails quite miserably for this purpose. This would let you get more detailed information than scent death, but ONLY for the very square you were in- which would be a nice in conjunction with scent death, but also useful on its own. If the above suggestion required scent death to work, would it still logically work for survivors? Because I think this is an ability both zombies and survivors should have access to, if not free use of. --S.Wiers X:00 13:20, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
