OOC: I just had to comment after I read your page. Do you love the Classic Sci-Fi Ultimate Collection as much as I do? Do you hate Van Helsing and love it at the same time because it made The Legacy Collection possible? Do you remember watching Harryhausen films and brilliant stuff like The Land That Time Forgot on Saturday afternoons? IC: Some friends and I are in the midst of a pub crawl 'n brawl. Interested? LOL! Why yes, as it happens... I thought the one good thing out of Van Helsing was that it spurred the Legacy collections, which I now have all of (insert woot here). Serious October/Halloween seasonal viewing, there! And yep, most of the Crawlers grew up on Harryhausen and such - I actually saw "Land that Time forgot", "People...", and others of those mid-70's Doug McClure flicks in the theaters and drive-ins. Wonderful stuff. And Peter Cushing laid waste to hundreds of beasties without ever resorting to one kung fu backflip! At the moment, the Crawlers in-game are pretty much lounging uselessly, but I'll buzz everyone and point them here. Hey Paddy, I had a character running with your Crawl and Brawl, but RL time restraints have kept me from keeping up with you, so I had to drop out. I hope the C&B is going well. Harryhausen is one of my personal heroes as well as a beloved figure to many of the OFs in the Pub Crawlers.
