Our About, Ideals, and Policies

Die Angriff-Maschine means The Onslaught Machine, but it just sounds better in German. The Machine formed in January 2007. We would like to one day have a very capable, mobile force to fight the dead in all of Malton. The Machine is now in Kinch Heights. PKing is something we frown upon unless the person is a reported Pker, GKer, RKer, nuisance, harm causing zerger, or suspected zombie spy. We do not want to be viewed as some millitary group, because we are not. We just are a highly organized group of people with a leader that just happens to like metal and the german language so intense titles apply to most things! Strategy and organization is key to survivor success. Obstacles of The Machine will have no mercy shown upon them. Dead or live ones.

Mall Siege Policy - After Mall Tour 07's devastating attack on Pole Mall, we realized our original mall siege policy was futile and have a "new", revised one. We WILL take part in staying inside the mall to monitor cades and kill intruding zombies, but will still have a mildly close base with many more members inside that will move in on the mall when we report a break in. This large team of maschinists will hopefully move in at about the same time and very shortly to cade, kill, dump, and then leave the mall to go back to the base. Healing of the remaining survivors will be the responsibility of the members inside the mall, as keeping the zombies out is THE highest priority.

OUR Standard Process for Break-Ins
Cade, Kill, Dump, Heal, Revive your dead, Repeat

When invading a ransacked and zombie occupied building
KILL, Dump, Repair, Cade, Call for more survivors

War on Sheep

Bsfa98.JPG War On Sheep
This user or group is sick of survivors acting like lame sheep. Zombies are supposed to be the herd creatures, not the living!

Organized survivors do the surviving and fighting most successfully

Uncoordinated survivors are as bad as sheep. When something devastating happens because of a zombie horde, mostly all survivors panic and run around aimlessly thinking of something to do. If you're not a sheep and in a group, you keep your cool, form a plan with your mates, and come back to knock em all dead!! Don't be dumb like a herded zombie. Let your inner wolf shine as a member of a group!

Objectives of Die Angriff-Maschine

  • Maintain, and Protect (MP) protectorates

Whatever important buildings we are able to MP, we will keep caded and functional for all survivors to use. We of course respect other groups' tags in and on buildings, so we only go after interiors or exteriors that are free game. When we have protectorate goals and current protectorates they will be near the bottom of this page.

  • Have A Good Time!

Kill some zombies, hang around at the bar(if there's one nearby), share your tales, do whatever you please! The Machine has units of Maschinists that have operations and stuff, but those that partake in them do so voluntarily. Doing nothing important's kind of boring, so it's usually fun being in them anyways! The other classes of course have goals too, but it's not like they're hard, and then do whatever you will!

  • Help Survivors In Kinch Heights

From keeping the lights on, to making sure there's a radio to communicate news on, to giving medical and revivification aid, we'll be there to help the survivor cause the best we can. We sponsor the revive point at the carpark 1 South of the Nevill Building.

  • Fight the Undead in all of Malton

Wherever our current home area is of course in our greatest interest to protect, but the Maschinists and their Metal Commanders will also aid foreign suburbs under attack. We want to make our prescence known to the dead. We want to make them fear Die Angriff-Maschine!

Organization of The Machine

There aren't really ranks, but more of positions that new members can choose from depending on what they'd like to do. You are in no way bound to what class you choose. Feel free to change classes as you wish. All new members are at first put in the Maschinist category if they don't specify what they'd like to be.

As of May 19, 2007, the Engineer and Head Engineer classes to choose from have been deleted from choice as they were rather dull, so maschinists now have their peacetime suburb maintenance duties.

Maschinist - The butchers of The Machine that are the teeth in every operation. There's a little wiggle room for promotion being the Metal Commander position. In peacetime, they watch the cades and help keep generators fueled, and help out the general area's populace.

Rogue - Independent fighters of The Machine. Those that would prefer to do things independantly should apply here. May be called upon to do some bounty hunting for PKers, RKers, GKers, etc, should the need arise.

Metal Commander - These are maschinists that have been elected by fellow maschinists to lead them in an attack missions elsewhere in Malton. Position is temporary to the amount of time the mission is in progress however, but any one maschinist can be re-elected to lead another mission should the forum polls turn out in his/her favor again.

Maintenance Goals of Die Angriff-Maschine

Below are the main buildings we are aiming to keep powered and/or caded in the future. Other nearby buildings are in our interests to keep caded, but these are our main interest points WE will hopefully keep or help keep well maintained some day. We need engineers to join before the buildings on this list will move to the current maintained buildings area. Nothing other than mainly cade watching will be done.

Urban General Hospital - for FAKs
Samways Walk Railway Station - HQ
the Nevill Building - for revivification syringes
Milverton Place Police Department - for ammo/guns
Club Steager - Place to party!! |m|_ and find mobile phones
Kebby Way School - for Spray Cans
the Eden Museum - Allow mobile phone usage
Haine Auto Repair - for Fuel Cans
Factory 41,80 - for generators and fuel cans
the Noyce Arms - for BEER!! and it'd make a nice outpost
