History
Lost in the shadows and chaos of a quarantined and abandoned city are The Myrmidons, a secret group of murderers, madmen and malcontents. In the dark they dwell, meeting as they always do, in their black robes and masks to hide their true identities. Amidst the wine, the concerto of insanity and the revelry they discuss their "crimes" with a flippant air of sophistication.
Anyone can commit murder most foul, it is left to the true masters of their craft...the cerebral killer...to perform it with a sweet grace and skilled precision. If you feel as though you may have what it takes you could be shown the inner circle, but beware. Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.
Group Goals
Our main enemy we seek to wipe out is the Department of Emergency Management DEM, whom are an overly bloated, hypocritical mess of manufactured morals. These insidious individuals press their morals, point of view and special brand of evil upon on unsuspecting public who see them as their masquerading visage, that of a friend.
Every member of The Myrmidons is a highly skilled, veteran player of Urban Dead running a player killing character. We encourage, nay, we make it MANDATORY that each person who wishes to join the Myrmidons have a concept in mind for their character. On our forums, you can clearly see we favor the RP'ing aspect of UD and making it something interesting with these characters. Each Myrmidon has their own personality, back story and modus operandi for killing off perfectly good Maltonians. Player killing is an art, and not something to be done lightly or lacking panaché. Simply stated, each member's goals are their own as long as they have SOME goals.
We prefer our members to be high level characters, however in certain circumstances it isn't necessary. What IS required is a mastery of Urban Dead, an understanding of how to properly PK someone and get away with it (killing someone then staying in the area to get killed yourself does no one any good), and a desire to have a character with flavor. The forum's moderator, ainfean, will create a custom signature image for each member to their specifications built around the created persona. Another of the advantages we boast with The Myrmidons is brotherhood. We stress taking care of our own, as well as having an online place for like minded gamers to relax and have fun...even build friendships. Think you have what it takes?
