Description
Most of this buildings front facade has broken away, revealing the red brick and steel underneath. Piles of debris have been pushed up to the front of the building in what looks like a make shift barricade.
History
The Passley Building was dedicated in 1921 as a soaring (for the time) high end office building for the up and coming in the financial world. It remained largely vacant after the stock market crash and subsequent depression. It found new life in the boom that followed World War II and until the 1970's remained an exclusive office building. As Huntley Heights economy collapsed, the Passley Building's owners finally decided to call it a loss and abandoned the building. Until the quarantine, it had earned a reputation of being a squatters paradise.
Barricade Policy
Building is to be maintained EHB by the Human Habitat for Huntley.
