Although pathetically named, this minion of Lord Pitman, the squire of Pitman Mansion, Quarlesbank, is one of the most dangerous and cruel members of the Pitman Terror Squad.

Dreadamp was one of the original subjects of the Spinal Quatermass experiments of the late 1990's. Lord Pitman wanted to create a mindless drone that would obey his every command, yet also be a major influence in society. He selected a pop-star.

Ronald Chump was picked from the local pop-band, Three Shakes of a Snake's Tail and experimented upon for months by Lord Pitman himself. His mind became slowly corrupted as Lord Pitman relentlessly spent his time conditioning his head.

Murder and death seemed destined to be his future.

Ronald Chump was kept locked up for years in an underground dungeon in a dark and dingy downtown club. The constant rock/goth music taunted Chump's musical mind until one night it snapped completely. This was about the time of the outbreak. Two nights before Malton was quarantined, Lord Pitman realeased Ronald Chump, clutching his old electric guitar amplifier, into the streets. Dreadamp was loose.

The reverberating, echoing sounds of DreadAmp's groans (amplified by his electric guitar amplifier) have been heard every single night from then onwards. The poor creature has been brain-washed to protect Pitman Mansion and slaughter any that dare to enter the property. His signature move is to apply the Kiss of Dread to his victims - leaving them with a single health-point, but infected. Their only choice, to wait and see who arrives first - whether it be a youngling zombie with a taste for flesh, or a cocksure "told you so" life-saving hero, or perhaps something worse...
