Background

Following the 1984 collapse of the Lamport Hills mining industry Roy found himself redundant at the age of 18. Having followed in the family footsteps of his father and grandfather and started mining before finishing school, he had no qualifications to fall back on.

With little other option Roy signed up with the army. His hardy nature and drive suited the forces well and propelled him to the rank of Sargent. Not wishing to progress past the point of NCO he chose to decline the multiple offers of promotion. Instead he elected to build skills and experience in multiple fields of army warfare.

With his home suburb in ruins his family and friends dead (and maybe undead) Roy uses all his skills and training to exact revenge on the hoards of undead in hopes that one day Lamport Hills will be Zombie free.
