I study death. Preferably yours, though I have no qualms about mine.
A zombie's foray into life.
- February 7, 2011
- I won't be spending much time alive, so I've decided to record my experience as a breather. Woke up yesterday, alive. My zombie brethren would not recognize me, so I needed somewhere to stay. I found myself weakening as I moved. There was a building in front of me, an old sign naming it Shuffery Bank. I clambered over furniture and equipment that had been piled against the door. There was someone else here, so I asked if he had a first-aid kit. This proved to be unnecessary, as I found one on me, along with a knife that I remember picking up from a brief excursion to the world of the living before. I also found it strange but comfortable to note that my sense of smell was still as good as ever. I'm still getting accustomed to being agile again, so I won't yet be able to get into the more heavily barricaded buildings I saw upon scouting my surroundings. I shall sleep for now and see what tomorrow brings...
- A forgotten February day, year 2011
- I don't know the date, just that I had died in my sleep. My zombie brethren had come for me after all. I rose again after following familiar groans to nearby Wadham Square Police Department, where I received another needle. I returned to the bank, only to find it ruined. I wandered around the nearby buildings. I am not expecting to wake up alive, as I know they will find me again fairly quickly.

- It's been quite a while since I was last alive. This time, I came to in front of Methodius General Hospital. I headed over to Voizey Drive PD and talked a little. I also wanted to rummage around for something I might find useful later on. I was getting tired, so I went back to the hospital and waited for someone to heal my most recent injuries. Instead of first-aid, I get an axe. Why? because someone from the FPDF accused me of being a zed spy. Right..

- Life has grown boring. I have walked on over to the Fort Perryn Gatehouse to re-join my brethren. Until the next revive...
- January 10, 2012
- I have fuzzy memories of the past few months... I know that I did get revived again, as I woke up today alive and inside a building. After some preliminary exploration, I found Fort Perryn up and running. Stocked with lots of bread. I said a few words of encouragement to my brethren, but I retreated to the safety of the building I woke up in. I still wanted to learn some valuable skills that would be difficult to learn as a zombie. Now to sleep.

- In my continuing efforts to make use of my time as a breather, I have had slightly disappointing results. Today, however, I found in Hooper Square Fire Station, to my immense joy, a fire axe! Watch out people, I have become slightly more deadly. My endeavors to become more skilled in the ways of the living shall become a lot faster now...

- I have learned what I need for now. Time to rejoin my brethren. The nearby Luff Building is tall enough...

- Once again, I wake after months pass. This time revived by a rather... shameless... individual. I look up at the building's sign, which proclaims it to be Garton Place Railway Station. I wandered around, finding myself at a factory. Oddly enough, at the same time as one a zombie broke down the barricades. I have also furthered my living knowledge a little, and this will be enough for now. I did, in good sport, inform the occupants of their immediate problem, so I go to sleep with a clear conscience.

- I learned that it can be very disorienting to be on the receiving end of mood swings. The same person who revived me a before killed me 2 days later. I don't get it. I used my newly-restored mobility to clamber inside Anne General Hospital and greet the survivors inside. I have a feeling that I'll get attacked again, seeing as the one who killed me last is inside...

- Much as I enjoyed watching the harmanz struggle, I felt the need to shamble overpower me. The Mais Motel will provide a nice diving board.
