My Survival Journal
24Mar08- Things are looking pretty bad in Malton right now. Zombies numbers have risen like Jesus. It's now about 70/30 and I'm not sure it'll get any better anytime soon. I think the survivors are starting to give up hope. I know that I can't seem to keep Edgecombe clean. Every time I repair a building there are always zombies crowding around to destroy my work.
19Mar08- I've been scrambling to clean up Edgecombe. The zombies have started organizing more and have targeted my section of Malton. The past two and a half months have been spent back and forth between Hildebrand mall and the Clatworthy. All that time loading up on ammo and FAKs.....only to find that when I get back I have to take back the section again. The only thing keeping me sane in this quarantine is my VZW family and those weekly Uncle Zeddie reports.
1Jan08- I haven't had much time to update this journal. I've been rouging it around Malton for a while trying to keep the surrounding suburbs safe. Just yesterday, Big Bash 2 came around and took Fort Creedy. My attempts to secure a location near the Fort were cut short by my lack of ammo. So, I'm halfway between the Fort and Mitchem Mall resting up. Pegtown is a MESS! I'm going to need more help getting this burb back in order.
15Nov07- The festival is over and we're heading home now. It was quite a journey around Malton. I especially liked the warmth of the ROACH Klips in Roachtown. We'll be doing another tour soon, but for now I need to clean up Edgecombe a little. It's been trashed since the VZW have been gone.
1Nov07- Spent the day running to Owsleybank to see the next film at the Vesey Cinema. I picked up a few FAKs along the way. This suburb seems very quiet. After a week of running from zeds you'd think I would want a break, but now I'm getting edgy. I need to see some action soon. I'm all stocked up on ammo and I feel the need to get some headshots in.
31Oct07- Happy Halloween! Of course, with the city overrun with the walking dead it feels like Halloween every day. There's a strange fog outside that makes me glad I'm in the cinema with other VZW-ites.
22Oct07- I traveled to Danversbank to start the VZW Film Festival. We're traveling all over Malton to promote the VZW and bring awareness to Edgecombe. After just one day at the cinema, we were overrun and I'm dead again. I'm traveling to the next cinema, Cockle Cinema, in Mockridge Heights.
15Oct07- Died and was revived again over the weekend. The VZW have really got my back, I must say.
I spent the day reviving and healing. I really need to collect some more ammo.
12Oct07- I started collecting syringes, first aid kits, and ammo today. I need to stock up a bit. I also got some fuel for the Clatworthy's generator which I'll refill today.
10Oct07- I finally found a generator and hooked it up to the Clatworthy. I spent the night at the Southcott Plaza Fire Station and was attacked in my sleep. When I came to as a zombie I tried to kill the guy who killed me but someone had already gotten him. SkullnBones was the ass who ate me, and he advertises that he wishes to be revived. I hope I come across him as a zed one day.... I was already revived, just sleeping off my buzz. I'm ready to kill some PKers later on.
7Oct07- I spent the day searching for a generator. I'm going to try to get St. Deusdedit's Hospital back up and running. I did come across some fuel cans and a tool box, so once I get a generator I can start repairing and getting the hospital back online.
4Oct07- These zeds are determined to keep me dead. I got hit again in Crowbank and now I'm wandering around trying to find an active revive point. Killed another zombie out of anger...let's hope it was the one that got me.
Heading to Cake Walk in Roftwood [62,55] to await revivification.
Luis Tully brought me back this time. I need to rest and cure this infection. Hopefully I'll find someone with a first aid kit.
2Oct07- Edgecomb's been overrun by zeds. The entire south area is in ruins. I've hidden myself in northern Crowbank to recover. Where is everyone?
1Oct07- Thanks to Uncle Huck I'm alive again. Sleeping off my buzz, I'll be back in action tomorrow.
30Sept07- Damn zeds got me again. I'm at Pellatt Auto Repair "[77,58]". I attacked a zed outside of the Clatworthy just before I moved. He's down to 18HP.
29Sept07- I got killed yesterday at St. Deusdedit's Hospital [75,59] by a zombie that broke through the barricades. I'm currently at Oldidge Way [78,58] waiting to be revived. Just out of anger, I killed two zombies on the way there. Still fighting from the other side!!
Vincent Coccotti was so kind to revive me this afternoon. I'll be joining the group again once I've slept a bit.
25Sept07- Joined the The Veterans of the Zombie Wars (VZW) today. I spent most of the day, and yesterday, looting the Giddings Mall for ammo.

Wedge - several VZW members are in the vicinity of the Clatworthy Arms in Edgecombe, but things are pretty hairy there right now. I think most people will be pulling back to the vicinity of Hildebrand Mall and make forays into the 'danger zone' until things clear up a bit. Just revived you outside of Gregors Building -- there are 3 VZW people inside the Herbert Building 1 space North and 1 space North-West of your current location. Stop by and we will heal you up. Good to hear you are not having trouble accumulating XP -- let us know if you want help as we can scout targets for you so you don't waste AP wandering.
