Your suggestion

Hello. :) I've come to give you a couple of handy helpful pointers with suggestions. While autonomous revives for survivors may seem a good idea, it actually over-balances the game complete in favour of survivors. Imagine a Mall Siege. The zombies will win if they can clear out all the survivors and then ruin the mall. By letting survivors revive themselves that becomes an impossible task.
Every time a survivor dies in this hypothetical siege, they'll just stand up and revive themselves. Multiply that by a billion and you have an army of unstoppable, unkillable survivors. Thereby totally and utterly destroying any concept of balance.
Zombies get to stand up with full health as many times as they want when they die because that's what they are. Zombies don't die. They just get knocked over and stand up again later on. In balance terms, it is much easier for a survivor to kill a zombie (in fact, a survivor can easily kill about 3 or 4 zombies on a good day) than for a zombie to kill a survivor (which is usually 1 a day). So to balance this, zombies find it easier to get back up, but to stop it going over the top, we have headshot to inconvenience them a little more.
Suggestions are odd things. Some concepts are very much disliked. Try reading Suggestions Dos and Do Nots and Frequently Suggested to get an idea about what won't be accepted. Talk:Suggestions is a good place to suggest an idea and get some advice and make improvements before voting. Bear in mind that any suggestion that makes either side significantly more powerful (especially survivors) will get spammed to hell.
Don't let this put you off though. I've had quite a few of my suggestions shot down myself. You learn from what you've done wrong and try a different approach next time. Good luck! -- Cheese 10:34, 22 July 2008 (BST)
