Tell me when you've finished
and I'll add stuff. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 15:43, 17 September 2010 (BST)
- This occurred during my "sabbatical" from UD so I can't really help with content, but I could probably help edit stuff if you want DDR. -MHSstaff 00:00, 22 September 2010 (BST)
So...
I started editing and then I realized I had no idea what you were thinking should be changed or needs improvement, so I stopped around the Siege of Morrish; feel free to revert/kill/dump/cade what you feel doesn't make sense. What do you think are the biggest problems with the original article, and what areas need the most improvement? -MHSstaff 03:03, 8 October 2010 (BST)
- Looks like a lot of people complained about the side bar, especially numbers and kills, the conclusions section, some of the judgmental wording in the main article, and the scope of the battle (Giddings / Morrish vs a battle for the entire suburb). Also, "horde" is apparently a loaded term. Whatever that means. -MHSstaff 03:39, 8 October 2010 (BST)
- Basically everything above the "The Siege of the Morrish building" header was my re-worded account of the original article. Everything below that needs to be re-written and generally cut down IMO. -- LEMON #1 03:45, 8 October 2010 (BST)
- Heh. Whoops. Sorry DDR. Got it. -MHSstaff03:47, 8 October 2010 (BST)
- How much do you want to cut it by? -MHSstaff 03:48, 8 October 2010 (BST)
- Well, the issue isn't cutting it down to a certain length, it's just cutting out all the POV and unnecessary shit that was written in. I guess the mentality we have should be "keep it in if it's important or is worth the effort to re-word it into the article". We don't have to make a masterpiece, but I'd really like to give it the best chance to make Historical Events finally. Just do what you think is good mate. -- LEMON #1 03:52, 8 October 2010 (BST)
Yes this is an awful awful pun. However I figure we're very light on images nabbed from the giallo zombie movies we Europeans cut our teeth on, in favour of Romero's hits and misses, and the modern proto-trenchie genre. Moar goar I say. 03:37, 8 October 2010 (BST)
