Drop me a liine!

  • Good morning Mr. Jellofun!
It was nice of you to stop by and take some swings at my buddies and I today! I was just logging on and what greeted my eyes? "jellofun attacked you for 3 damage. (04-07 00:30 BST) (Now 6 east.)". Wonderful. Quite wonderful. So off we went, my sorrowful companions and I. After some pleasant cade smashing, we gained access and I am sure you know of the bloodshed that followed. I am just wondering, why do you hate Caffeinaholic so much? Does he not revive you? I almost felt bad for the poor guy. Had his friend lead a bunch of hostile zeds right to him. Owch. Well, I suppose it is none of my business, but if you want him dead, attacking me or mine and letting us live, then holing up in his building is a good way to get him killed. It will also get you killed though. I cannot say I am against it either. That is all for me. Seeya around!

    • Gholesh! What a grand time we had last night. Funny thing is that I didn't even realize that you were in the building until we took out the first zed. I could have sworn that I hit you for more than just 3HP, well, anyways, I figured that I had put more distance between us before I APed out. That is the bad thing about us humans. We cannot live outdoors and breath the fresh air like you zeds and have to scurry like rats through buildings. sometimes we just can't find a safe building and have to back track. You have turned me into a sad sad zombie :( EDIT: BTW, you have now been the 30th person to kill me. Congradulations :) --Jellofun 13:53, 7 April 2006 (BST)
  • Hello again Jellofun!
I am saddened to hear you don't look for me in crowds of zeds. More so than I already was, actually. You DID hit me considerably more than the just once, but I hadn't copied and pasted the "... and again" and the timestamps over and over again. I was merely trying to get across the scent trail or whatnot (probably the second time that skill has been useful to me). The first unhappy zed who was killed (I assume you helped kill him anywho) was Mr. Matholomew, Sorrowful Zombie extraordinaire! You've met him before. Several times. I am sure he is saddened that he is not on your contacts list. That zed is the most senior member of the group (aside from me, I suppose). Give him some respect!
Anyways, believe you me, I know of the joys of playing a survivor character(and I am not talking about my periodic revives either). In fact, several of The Sorrowful Zombies do. It is why we play zombies. Although, in all fairness, we never managed to annoy anyone enough for them to form a group dedicated to our destruction. But who knows, maybe you'll like it as a zombie. Be sad. Smash cades. Eat brains. Moan. Rinse. Repeat, and note that those you killed the day before are right back up again. Unlife continues in Malton.

message from the player of Colonel Al and Asheets

Hey! No harm, no foul! Actually, I know that other folks are just playing characters online (and if they aren't, they are LOSERS!). The "asheets" character talks a lot of trash, but has a rule to never actually kill a PKer character (Hit for 58 HP, sure!. But never kill.). The getting killed because of a radio broadcast? It was in character to complain about it, AFAIC.

With "asheets", I'm not too worried about getting PKed in Penny Heights -- getting killed by another human player is an inconvenience at worst. Because of the real lack of danger there right now, "asheets" says and does things (like giving out multiple headshots, but only moving 1 space away instead of hiding) that he wouldn't do in other 'burbs.

With "Colonel Al", there may have been some confusion on bounty status. Sorry about that. That character got invited to an anti-PH war with another guy, found the place turned into PKer-ville, and just went to work on whomever was listed at DEM (bountied or otherwise). With the fall of Giddings, that's pretty much come to an end anyhow. PK hunting was an interesting sideline, but he's going back to being an annoying combat reviver just as soon as things calm down a bit at Giddings.

Finally, the bit about "cutting and running" -- since there was a PK v. anti-PK war in Pitneybank at the time, I found it a bit strange that you would head to leave the area. Just a bit of trash talk -- nothing meant by it. Asheets 21:27, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks
