Welcome back

I hadn't seen you around the MIC much recently. Welcome back, sir. --Pedentic 03:55, 21 September 2007 (BST)

yeah, took a break from the game there for a while - when all those malls were safe the game got a bit boring; missed all the fun with LUE and a little zed resurgence & I appear to be back just in time for another survivor age though... Timing. :(
Keep in mind, though, that malls are not the entire game. Perhaps you could organize a raid into Ridleybank or something. Actually, would you be interested in a Dirt Nap with me? I like the idea behind it. If you want to, just let me know. Have a great day! --Pedentic 03:46, 22 September 2007 (BST)

How to handle it

How should I go about formatting Tynte Mall's entry in the MIC? There are currently two people posted there. Should I put both of them along with the date of their posts in the user line? Input would be appreciated. Thanks! --Pedentic 16:52, 9 July 2007 (BST)

Bringing to your attention

I don't know if you're the type who likes to use templates on your user page, but if you are, here's one that certainly would fit you. Have a great day! --Pedentic 05:42, 16 June 2007 (BST)

A possible edit opportunity

I happened across your update to Stickling Mall's entry in the mic, and particularly noticed the double signature. You may wish to consider writing a new entry, or simply putting "Update:" before your comment there. The double signature looks kind of odd. Whether you choose to change it or not, thanks again for the work you put into making the Mall Information Center the great resource it is. --Pedentic 03:57, 4 June 2007 (BST)

yeah, not the best way to do it. i probably should have just written up a new entry but wanted to indicate that his was still accurate without taking credit for it, or modifying his & not changing credit; seemed like the quickest way to do it; but ugly, i agree. i don't have anyone there at the moment, so i don't want to modify it without first hand knowledge. i'll wait a day or two and change it to unknown so someone can update it with fresh info. --Lardass 15:24, 6 June 2007 (BST)

Thank you

I've been noticing your name all over the Mall Information Center recently, and I just wanted to stop by and thank you for the work you do there. It really is appreciated. Have a nice day and keep up the good work! --Pedentic 21:39, 15 May 2007 (BST)

I second that! Do you have a group?--Benigno SSZ RCC 23:53, 5 June 2007 (BST)
i did, did the group thing for a while till the group all collectively got bored of it, not currently interested in joining one, but thinking of forming one for 'mall reporters' as it's what i consider myself.--Lardass 15:24, 6 June 2007 (BST)
That's not a bad idea. Either way, we really appreciate the work! --Benigno SSZ RCC 16:20, 6 June 2007 (BST)

Body Drag 2

Suggestions aren't really supposed to be edited after they've been posted, so I've moved the new body drag suggestion onto the main suggestions page, and changed the version on the previous days suggestions page back to body drag 1.0 so that there's a record of it. Anyway, welcome to the wiki. --Toejam 15:18, 28 March 2007 (BST)

As you have probably realized by now some people here are not particularly nice to new users (although it could well have been far worse!) just in case it gets removed before you get to check the suggestion feedback i would like to point out that it does have some merit, but will probably die as we have a lot of users who like the status-quo and vote kill/spam on a whole lot of things regardless. That said I join Toejam in welcoming you to the drama factory!--Honestmistake 17:12, 28 March 2007 (BST)

Fort Creedy

I'm there, I can see how things are going. But only 1 building is ruined as of right now, there are nowhere near 300 zombies inside the fort- one, two hundred at the max.  Nalikill  TALK  E!  W!  M!  USAI  19:52, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

No need to edit it; I think Oberman's report says enough.  Nalikill  TALK  E!  W!  M!  USAI  19:59, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
agreed. --Lardass 20:01, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

The fort's probably about to fall, but think about it for a second. It withstood for 8 days the following: 1. PK'er attacks killing 126 people- almost a full percent of all the survivors in the game 2. Roughly 100 ferals sieging sporadically. 3. The full force of the Big Bash, over 200 zombies.

Survivors, despite the slurs the PKA and BB2 may bring against them, fought valiantly.  Nalikill  TALK  E!  W!  M!  USAI  01:31, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

well, some did no doubt, but in general it wasn't terribly effective - the bash was held up more at some NT buildings along the way... i checked in about 3 times today and each time there were buildings with it's doors open. Ultimately i think the fort isn't really ever going to be a great place to hold off a large horde - the necessity of keeping key buildings at VS to get reinforcement makes it nearly impossible to keep the cades at effective levels; hopefully giddings will attract enough people to put up a better front. --Lardass 02:01, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
IT IS DONE! First Ruining of Fort Creedy Tell me what you think.  Nalikill  TALK  E!  W!  M!  USAI  02:00, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
good - but I'm not sure it qualifies as the first ruining, until the body dump change creedy was sacked more than it wasn't - before that change there was no way to keep a smart zed out of the gatehouse (they just had to use their last AP to move deeper into the fort). but 'the first post body dump change seige' doesn't roll off the tongue :)... my feeling on the fort is the cades are the most critical factor in the BB sweeping thru the way they have - the AP differential is most effective in the VS-EH range, where zeds have to use all of their ap to get thru the cades. this means only metagame attacks work, and they are really hard to coordinate effectively... but with cades at VS any ferral zed (the bulk of BB2 members) are going to get into the building and have 10-15 AP to bite and claw. that makes it really hard for the survivors to stand against that math.--Lardass 02:15, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
Hehehe. IT's the first ruin, definitely... ruin was introduced at the same time as the body change. And while all that's true, consider that the revives were still up and running, and that all buildings other than the armory and gatehouse can be EHB. So, theoretically, you could let someone ruin the gatehouse and armory, and make your stand in the other buildings, and they might not ever fall, if the NT didn't fall.  Nalikill  TALK  E!  W!  M!  USAI  02:18, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
Well, yes and no on the gatehouse and armory - technically speaking, that's all that's fallen so far anyway -but i don't think people, you and me included, give the barracks and infirmary much chance EH cades or not. I've seen many many seiges (been around for first creedy) and revives are expensive AP wise (both for the reviver and revivee) so generally speaking not dieing at all is critical to turning back a siege (which doesn't happen very much) and ultimately, i think most survivors will seek safer pastures after a revive anyway... besides this time the fort fell so fast there was no time to get revived and back in there anyway.--Lardass 02:53, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

10k Society

Membership approved. pindar is now also a member of the 10k Society with a 10kplatinum.gif platinum member card. I agree with zombies to have the potential to gain more XP, because they don't talk that much, spray that much and the other things they don't have. My pro-s character has about 5000Xp, my pro-z 30k. --CannibalX 01:59, 7 July 2008 (BST)

hmm good idea, but you are the only one with a profil-number lower than 100,000 Maybe we can add a little symbol to pindar's age, like a star or something to show he is special. --CannibalX 06:31, 8 July 2008 (BST)
