Hello

I just noticed some of your recent edits and I wanted to welcome you to the Urban Dead wiki. If you're just learning the ropes around here the help page is a great place to start. It's a quick read and it includes some of the basics like signing your posts. There's also a ton of info on this page depending on how deep into the rabbit hole you want to go.
Also, if you ever have any random questions that come up as you make your way around the wiki feel free to contact me on my talk page. Have fun and see you around!--GANG Giles Sednik CAPD 13:25, 10 December 2010 (UTC)

Group Pages

Hi again. I just wanted to let you know about the way in which group pages are organized on the wiki. Basically, all group pages are formatted by the following naming convention: Group Name/Group Sub Page. So, Tiamat and Blue Chapter, Red Chapter, etc, would all be N1/Blue Chapter etc.
For example, there is a big group called "The Fortress" with various chapters, and you can see how their subpages are organized with say The Fortress/Anaconda. It might take a few hours for one of the sysops to come along and move all of your pages to the correct spot, but when it is done the links to your group pages will be as follows:

Ooops! You seem to have accidentally recreated the pages "White Chapter" and "Tiamat". Remember, those pages should now be located at N1/White Chapter and N1/Tiamat. Any time you make a new page for your group don't forget to start the name with N1/, just like new pages in your userspace will always start with User:NObody/.
If you get in the habit of doing this it will save other users some of the time and work of having to move the pages to the appropriate space. ;) Also, just for clarification I'm not a moderator or anything. I'm just an ordinary wiki user like yourself and I've recently taken an interest in helping new users find their way around.
Finally, one thing that can be very helpful in organizing your group pages is to maintain a little navigation template. You can see an example of the one I use here. Basically it just goes at the top of all your group pages and it includes links to everything. This makes it easier to keep everything organized and just click on the links to move around your group space or userspace. I'd be happy to help you make a navigation template if you want.--GANG Giles Sednik CAPD 20:10, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
