Although I understand communism is a means, rather than an end, why this means, rather than others? Monolithic states don't work especially well. Sometimes they manage, sometimes they don't. Communism, especially Bolshevik communism, uses central commitees and vanguards, which are very vulnerable to the personalities of those corruptible people working in them.

Still, nice to see somebody wears colours a shade or two off mine.
