Matthewfarenheit, I was gonna post this comment on your talk page but its rather full and the sheer amount of conversations going on there daunts me so i'll just post in on here. Thanks for the newbie welcome thing granted I'm not a newbie per se but a good deal of the stuff on there is still useful for me so thank you. I'm posting this response on your talk page because you're likely not to find it if I put it on mine. First, I didn't read the above reply until now because it's impossible for me to track every talk page of the guys I welcome, but I thank your trust, and it's cool that you want to use templated signatures. Always use my talk page to communicate with me as I always find everyone's replies there, even if it looks cluttered. Now, let's see how can I help you:

Your templated signature looks right, and the way you use it (by inputing on your preferences {{SUBST:Nosubst|User:Sephikus/Signature}}, right?) seems right too. I can't clearly understand your request: when you say "the ones for my character" you mean links, and that you want to add links to your character profiles on your signature? the edit history of your signature doesn't show any sign of changes towards adding extra links on it besides the talk page link, so I think that you only used previews and didn't ever save the changes. When you see previews, the template itself doesn't refresh were it's placed, so you have to save the changes. If you can give me a better idea of what are the changes you want to make, what are the exact link that you want to add, and more, I can give you further insight, and even make it for you, just ask =). --Matthew Fahrenheit ^YRC☺T☺+1 02:36, 9 June 2007 (BST)

Alright, I saw your post and now I ask this: Was fixing the talk links all you needed help with? 'Cause if it is, then you seem to have fixed that. If that is all you needed help with, then I'm glad you figured it out on your own. I think theres more personal satisfaction in learning on your own than there is with being taught.
