Uh, I don't know much about that, you could ask the staff over at Project Welcome or Project Mentor, they should be able to help you. SAS Recon

Well I am afraid to say that we have no connection to the original SAS and, to my knowladge, none of their members are within our ranks at this time. The "first detachment" link was placed there as a sign of respect to the old group, as many of the virtues and ideas that they held are incorperated into ours. The idea was to incorperate a seperate story/history into the group to try and give members a feel for what we do and how we conduct ourselves in the shadow of the SAS without infringing on their own history or plans. I do regret that I was not around to join them while it was active as I would have loved to have experienced everything that has been recorded onto their Wiki page. As for our level of establishment, I would prefer not to say. I do not mean any disrespect to any member or the group but I would like to point people who view my page at what others achieved before me. Well it is nice to hear that you are willing to help us. If your wanting to join us, thats even better! Unfortunately I must stress that I enforce a very strict system, much to the fashion of the real SAS, and all members must adhere to these at all times. Equipment and Skills are as you choose and I do not have any problem with any of that, although I do want you to have a GPS, Radio (set to 28:81) and FAK at all times. As for clothing, and this is were your initiation comes into play, the set uniform for our group is;

  • a gas mask.
  • a black beret.
  • a set of Fort Perryn dog-tags. (The fort, right now, is under zombie control, so this will prove to me your mettel and determination.)
  • a dark blue jacket.
  • a pair of dark blue trousers.
  • a pair of black boots.

If you can retrive all these items without any damage to them, I.e. blood stains or tears, etc, and send me a link or something, then I will inform you of our location at that time and you can come and meet us for a formal greeting. Good luck. - Coleor, 00:41, 22 November 2007 (GMT)


That map is useful for planning routes and finding your location, I also like to use this one http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Suburbs to help plan a safe route for my team. If your sure your happy with using the map like that then I dont see any reason to make you get a GPS, but its up to you anyway. Well done indeed. Well we are located around a factory in East Grayside [62,80] right now. Myself and another Officer are in that building with the rest of the team around the suburb. You have three days to reach us before we have to make a move in preperation for our next operation.
