20070919 Dead Drops

NaomiJaneHaven 14:30, 19 September 2007 (BST)

Suggestion type
Improvement.

Suggestion scope
The recently dead.

Suggestion description
My suggestion would be that upon death as either a zombie or a human one item in the dying characters inventory would be dropped at random. This way all death would be something to avoid, as zombie characters only lose AP in death, there is no real penalty in a zombie death. This addition to the game will further level the playing field.

Keep Votes

  1. Keep - Makes sense. Would support a stronger version - with rare exceptions (Land of the Dead?), Zombies don't carry things. --Pgunn 18:55, 19 September 2007 (BST)

Kill Votes

  1. Kill - Sorry but this is a real bad effect on those who have been pked through no fault of their own. However if you want my advive then i guess you could do it so that a zombie with brain rot would lose one item (if they had any) as it's unlikely for them to be revived/to be able to use an item.--Acoustic Pie 15:11, 19 September 2007 (BST)
  2. Kill - Forcing people to drop items is bad and frequently suggested/rejected. --ZombieSlay3rSig.pngT 15:36, 19 September 2007 (BST)
  3. Kill - What the grim said. Oh, and what imbalance are you talking about? 60% survivors atm. Please use the suggestions talk page to gauge community opinion first... that way you avoid most of the curt replies if your suggestion isn't thought through -- boxytalk • 15:38 19 September 2007 (BST)
  4. Kill - Whoops, dropped my generator, how clumsy of me! --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 16:39, 19 September 2007 (BST)
  5. Kill People who want to play survivors already have an incentive to not die. --Jon Pyre 19:17, 19 September 2007 (BST)
  6. Kill - horrid, horrid nerf to survivors... and as grim said below, it also nerfs dedicated zeds. no way. --WanYao 19:19, 19 September 2007 (BST)
  7. Kill - It has the oppistite effect of what you want. BoboTalkClown 21:19, 19 September 2007 (BST)

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. Spam - this suggestion would actually have the opposite effect to that you intended; it will hurt survivors. Dedicated zombie players carry very few items, as zombies cannot use most of them. Survivors on the other hand, rely on items for combat, healing and communication. --Pavluk A! E! 14:49, 19 September 2007 (BST)
  2. Spam - The only item zombies really need to carry is a flak jacket, and this completely fucks them. beasides, a zombies entire purpose in unlife is to kill, completely disregarding death. Also, read the Do's and Do nots. Its the first fucking piece of advice under before making a suggestion. Fucking with other peoples inventories is a huge no no. --The Grimch U! E! 15:31, 19 September 2007 (BST)
  3. Spam - Grim hit it pretty good.-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 20:30, 19 September 2007 (BST)
  4. SPAM - WOOPS! HERE COMES THE BAD, AGAIN! LOOKS LIKE I HAVE TO TYPE IN CAPS!--  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 22:45, 19 September 2007 (BST)
