Some are NecroTech Buildings and can be identified by the "[NT]" appended to their name if you have the NecroTech Employment skill. Office buildings are tall enough for survivors to commit suicide from. They also provide a vantage point from which binoculars can be used. Office buildings can be barricaded normally.

The Pack Building

Description

A moderately tall commercial building for it's day, the Art Deco styling of stainless steel, glass and idealized sculpture makes it seem a bit dated today. It is an excellent example of the optimistic humanism of the late 1920's. The winged archangel sculptures remain atop the buildings roof corners, but now look down on empty courtyards that onced bustled with office workers and professionals.
