Who's invited?

All comers, or just zeds, or just humans? Just wanting to know if The Big Prick can tag along without annoying participants too much... Asheets 23:34, 8 August 2011 (BST)

Anyone, though its an indoor pub crawl so zeds would likely get left behind during pub transfers. The Pricks would be most welcomed. Watch the page for more details soon (probably tonight) ~Vsig.png 23:48, 8 August 2011 (UTC)

O'Zapfa - Sept 17

The Oktoberfest celebration kicked off today at The Mester Arms, Lukinswood with the ceremonial tapping of the Oktoberfest Keg in a ritual called O'Zapft.

ozapfa (v.)
to tap a beer barrel. The Oktoberfest is each year inaugurated with a ceremonial taping of the first barrel of beer in the Schottenhammel tent. The mayor of Munich attach the tap with as few hits as possible. When the tap has been attached the mayor shouts "O'zapft is!" (“it is tapped!”). Twelve shots indicate for the other beer tents, that beer may be served.

There were many in attendance for the ceremony this year, with toasts and cheers passed around by all. The celebration will continue for a few days at Mester before the pub crawl leg of the event begins. ~Vsig.png 08:02, 17 September 2011 (UTC)

Rough Start

After a great first day of the Oktoberfest event, things headed south after The Malton Globetrotters appeared and killed off nearly all of the Pub Crawl participants. There were roughly 25 in attendance. At first, this appeared to be in response to alleged zerging by one of the players in attendance. However, after that player agreed to detach from the event, the killings continued. It's more likely that the Globetrotters are simply doing just doing their thing.

The Pub Crawl will go on, though. If you were present at Mester on the 17th, I will do my best to contact you or your group with our next move. If you are reading this and interested in attending but you don't hear from me, contact me via email and I will fill you in. ~Vsig.png 16:29, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
