I've been contributing to this wiki for 5 months now, mainly on the suggestions page. I check this wiki on almost daily basis. My editing style has been to deal with the substance of a contribution and not the personality of the contributor, essentially I avoid drama. Many of you have seen my edits, but have never seen me add anything to your talk pages. This is because unless I have something worthwhile to say or the subjject is relevant to me, I don't say anything. This would translate to my style of moderation. I would maintain a low profile and make sure that everything runs smoothly, stepping in only when asked, or on the rare occasion that I feel it is necessary. CPQD 19:36, 25 April 2006 (BST)

  • Can you name any specific major projects you've worked on? --Cyberbob240CDF - Arb - W! 14:21, 26 April 2006 (BST)
    • Quite frankly, no I can't. I really haven't worked on any major projects, and I don't think that's important. I see the ideal division of labor on this wiki as such: the users create and expand the wiki and the moderators make sure that everthing runs smoothly and that the users play fair and nice to a reasonable extent. I think I'll make a good moderator because: I've been here for a long time, I know what I'm doing, I'm pretty laid back, I have no pet-projects, and I have no axes to grind. --CPQD 17:04, 26 April 2006 (BST)
  • I can't vouch for you then. I admire your ethics, but you really do need to have contributed something of importance to the wiki. --Cyberbob240CDF - Arb - W! 12:45, 28 April 2006 (BST)
  • So what would you do differently if you became moderator? - Jedaz 07:14, 6 May 2006 (BST)
  • No. You have only made 116 edits after the most recent purge. I've found that all of these edits (with maybe 4 exceptions), have not been much more than contributions to the suggestion pages. That is not enough, regardless of how useful or useless a suggestion or comment you've made has been, to be able to judge on whether you could make a good moderator. It is enough to judge that you are not active enough in any other part of the wiki to even consider placing the burden of being a moderator upon you. –Xoid STFU! 12:01, 6 May 2006 (BST)
