This place was sketchy even before the apocalypse, housing a number of shady "business" ventures.  The lettering on the directory spells out the names of sleazy loan sharks, cheap porn producers and phantomware startups.  Anyone going in the Conybear building had a habit of either being up to no good or deemed good to exploit for whatever they possessed.  These days it's just a conduit for people passing through to either the [[Billings Row Fire Station]], or service the [[MalTel]] tower within the [[the Gollop Building]], or maybe pass through the museums toward Blesley Mall...
