I spend most of my time as a zed-head. We move around, look for things, destroy them, kill, etc. And you can always get up again, kill more, get XP, etc. Humans are a little too weak, and once a building is barricaded, no way to get in again. Added to that, it's a sure giveaway to any zeds in the neighborhood where you are, and any barricade can come down with only a little effort. And any humans stuck inside not only get no XP, but are bored out of their minds standing around waiting for something to happen. I dunno, I realize the whole skillset thing, but I think that every human should be able to build the lightest of barricades- the idea being that any halfway intelligent human would be able to figure to push a dresser in front of the door or something. But the more experienced will necessarily know how to make bigger and better barricades. That's my two cents. Then again, as I said, I usually play as a Zed, so maybe I'm prejudice :D--Broklynite 13:51, 3 November 2008 (UTC) | I spend most of my time as a zed-head. Hey guys, I'd just like to say we should't barricade past VSB for now, as most people including myself are still low level, and will not have free running. There are few zombies in the area, so its not necessary. That being said, given time we should increase important building to EHB with nearby access points, because most survivors will have free running by then. And by the way, Schrieber Police station is heavily barricaded and I can't get in, so if anyone would kindly bring it down to VSB, that'd be nice. How come none of you are actually in Schreiber? Anyway, I'd like to join, so I was bold and added my name to the list. Can I join? BTW, barricades in Schreiber are at loose - light when I came so I gave them a boost. Was that Addy I saw sitting around outside? Hehe, I'm the highest leveled character (looking to be) in the group. :)

Yeah, I'm still alive in the Carrow hotel. I'm fairly sure anyone can join without permission so you can add yourself to the members. (http://urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=1393183)
Why does it need to end? We can be an equal opportunity employer... He can do recconaisance, or something.--Rachel Akebre 08:15, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
Hi, i'm holding up the centre-west side here in W. Borehamwood. We've got 2 PD's; Comes Grove and Salter Walk, plus a hospital, garage and warehouse. Not ideal for a main base but we get the job done. We get a few z's in from the west, but it's mostly quiet. I'm usually around the PD's making repairs or fuel runs, so drop by. - Drewster9000 --Kromdar 00:45, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

Schreiber Row is good, but I think that it should be the primary base, with another place being secondary, and everyone relocationg there in times of peace. (ie now) There's just not enough zombies to kill... I looked through the map, and there are two PS next to each othetr, with two hospitals, one each, and a factory in the middle. Is that not perfect? They are Elley Way and Dimon Way Police Station(s). Thoughts?--Rachel Akebre 07:53, 22 November 2008 (UTC) |

--We need a barricade plan for W. B-Wood!! Also we need to start discussion on this whole "barricading only gives zeds experience" thing. FCPancakeIII
Big Survivors Little Survivor
Welcomes you to Borehamwood. Just extending the hand of friendship from another survivor group and offering our services both on wiki and in game if you need anything just ask.

- Thanks for saying hi on our page. Heres some random info.
- Want to get noticed? Go crazy. Ive added a link to your page on ours (Its a shame you don't have a logo) And whenever you write it anywhere, make sure its a link, like West Borehamwood Defense Force so if anyone is interested, you're only a click away. Ive already done this on the West Borehamwood page for you. Ive also created the redirect WBDF for you, which will automatically link to this page. (Click it and see), and is easier to type.
- You might want to create an advert for Recruitment, follow the link for the page.
- Start small. Pick an area and set up shop. (Other survivors will find you, if you give them directions. May I suggest Schreiber Row Police Station [523,40] on this Map 1 as a good place, because its bordered by a factory and hospital, your two most important resource buildings. also its remote location should make it less appealing to zeds.
- From a barricade point of view, I'd suggest VSB throughout. no humans get stuck outside and few zombies can get in.
- For the most impact, I'd update the news section of West Borehamwood on a regular basis.
