Suggestion description
Well, I think that finding flares all over the city is rather unrealistic. After all, how many flares do you know of? But, not to quibble, I'm suggesting adding in some more flares, which functions the same but has a different description. So, for example, you could have "A bright red firework was fired 6 blocks to the East and 2 blocks to the North". There could be several, and bigger fireworks could be seen further away but incur larger AP penalties.
In other words, rockets and the like could be set up and fired for 2AP, while those sort of flower fireworks could cost 5AP and be seen twice as far away. And Big Berthas and the like could cost 10AP to set up and be seen three times as far away. Maybe this could use some tweaking.
But it'd be a neat feature. You could find fireworks in factories, and in order to stop people replacing flares with them, you could have some cigarette lighters or a box of matches which are limited use, and you need to be outside to set up and lauch the fireworks.
This would be useful for RP purposes (and the extravagansa), could be dropped in crates on public holidays, and let's face it, would be really quite fun. --DrBowman 18:45, 29 June 2007 (BST)

- Keep - Useless flavor...IM ALL FOR IT!! I just hope people don't suggest using them to blow up the zombies.... --Bruce Torbaron 21:46, 29 June 2007 (BST)
- Keep/Develop Needs a bit of development, and you will ahve to repost it, so I'm mainly offering this up as a vote of confidence next reposting.--Seventythree 22:38, 29 June 2007 (BST)
- Keep - Hell yes. --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 04:50, 4 July 2007 (BST)

Kill Votes
- Kill - Not fun, especially considering people will want to be able to blow up zombies next.--karek 19:25, 29 June 2007 (BST)
- Kill - Nope. I'm pretty sure this has been suggested before, also. If I find it I'll change to dupe. Vault 20:25, 29 June 2007 (BST)
- Kill -different flares for increased communications have been suggested before. different flares so Americans could celebrate 4 of July haven't as far as I know. But it doesn't matter as it's a rather localized holiday and thus a rather egocentric suggestion. There are players from other countries, you know, quite a few of them in fact. We don't celebrate kenkoku kinen-bi or sinterklaas avond either.-- Vista +1 21:27, 29 June 2007 (BST)
- RE: I'm actually British, this has nothing to do with 4th of July. Hell, I thought this could be used for Guy Fawkes since this is England. But they can be used all year round for birthdays, celebrations and just for fun.Unsigned Re: added by author DrBowman at 13:18, June 30, 2007 (BST). armareum 13:27, 30 June 2007 (BST)
- Kill - "Maybe this could use some tweaking" - if you think your suggestion isn't ready yet and might need some tweaking, take it to the Developing Suggestions page first. armareum 22:03, 29 June 2007 (BST)
- Kill - Develop it next time.-- dǝǝɥs oʇ ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 02:31, 30 June 2007 (BST)
- Kill - as Vista --Duke GarlandTLCD SSZ 07:38, 30 June 2007 (BST)
- Kill - ...boardering on spam. There are so many suggestions on this, it is getting really old, really fast. Midsummer celebrations are going on all across Europe, but you don't see people asking to have the ability to make bonfires in-game. --Ryiis 09:22, 30 June 2007 (BST)
- RE: I'm sorry, this is just different versions of flares. Bonfires would be nigh on impossible to implement effectively (although it could involve using parks and having them light up, but that would change the entire gameplay mechanic). This isn't getting old, it could be a fun addition.Unsigned Re: added by author DrBowman at 13:18, June 30, 2007 (BST). armareum 13:27, 30 June 2007 (BST)
Spam/Dupe Votes
- I suggested this for New Year's day ages ago. It was spaminated before I could even RE a single vote. So...I'll have to say dupe. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 22:47, 8 July 2007 (BST) Dupe vote without link struck. 'arm. 05:43, 14 July 2007 (BST)
