The Bransom Building
Description
History
The Bransom Building was, prior to the outbreak, a large-scale datacenter, seeing as it is located only a few kilometers away from the Eastern border of Malton and also being so close to the Power Plant. The datacenter was managed by Maltech Inc., a company that has a reputation of specialising in setting up servers but are total wipeouts at keeping the data secure. The datacenter was twice closed down as they fell victims to viruses that turned the entire datacenter into Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) zombies.
Today, this building no longer serves its original purposes, though the robust security systems (what an irony. don't you think?) do occasionally boot themselves up, and lock the survivors in accidentally, a recurrence which earned the locals' ire and a new nickname of "The Bloody Troublesom' Building". Generally, the building is not powered not only because it serves no new purpose when being powered, but that the general security annoyance the survivors get from this building also invites large amount of zombies, seeing as the undead would become attracted by any security breach announcements from the Building.
Two locals, Andy O'Neill Yale and Moustafa Hakasha, summed it up nicely on the building's lobby walls.
"Bransom is like a survivor's ransom that nobody in their right minds would pay for."
Barricade Policy
According to the current Dentonside Barricade Plan this building is to be kept at EHB levels!
