On the positive side, NW Borehamwood's reputation for drunken troublemakers (branded "nesters" in the local lingo) led to a big boost in police funding in the last decade. As a result, the suburb has several well-equipped PDs located right on top of the most troubled night clubs. Specifically, the Evelyn Row PD is an imposing fortress, located between Ormrod and Laver night spots. All of the PDs are equipped with CCD cameras to keep an eye on the riot-prone masses, and the police suffered surprisingly little attrition during the outbreak.

Parkhouse Walk PD is operating as an impromptu hub for defense coordination across the Northwest Borehamwood Police Crescent (consisting of Evelyn Grove, Preller Grove, Parkhouse Walk, and Denning Row PDs). They are broadcasting on 28.06 and three of the four PDs are powered and barricaded. Survivors are currently trying to organize with local hospitals and other resource buildings.--User:Saburai 4 November 2008
