Description
The Caunt Street Police Department [82,63] is a police department in the suburb of Vinetown. It is one of four police departments in the suburb with the Hartleys Boulevard Police Department immediately to the southeast.
It often acts as a new player friendly safehouse due to the policy of VSB+2 at all times, with the Bhore Monument Revive Point nearby as well as Mitchem Mall making it a very convenient survivor location.
History and Significance
Caunt street Police Department is housed in a former printworks. The building was seized by the city in 1967 after police raided the premises and discovered an international conterfeiting ring printing various currency. Unable to find anyone wanting to take ownership of the building it became an unofficial police storage area and then in 1981 a fully operational Police Department.
Survivor Groups
The Caunt Street Police Department has been claimed as a base of operations by the pro-survivor group Army of Dave, and more recently the Outbreak Control Unit.
Former Proprietor
Daniel Kilbane
The third and final leader of the Army of Dave, he has returned as proprietor of the CSPD, determined to restore his status as the leader of southern Vinetown. The Caunt Street Police Department is a chief survivor housing building for most of southern and western Vinetown. It's open to all survivors, even in a state of emergency as long as they mind the standard rules of staying in any safehouse.
