Santlerville is a suburb of Malton, located in the northeast of the city. The suburb contains one of the last, and possibly the greatest, bastions of commercialism left within Malton: Dowdney Mall.

During the dot-com boom of the 1990's, Santlerville saw a sharp increase in white-collar jobs. When the bubble burst, commercial development in the suburb stalled, though the towers and office buildings remained as new industries took hold. Dowdney Mall, one of the very last malls to be built before the outbreak, was built at the start of this "commercial era", opened in 2001 during a massive gala to celebrate the reinvigoration of the suburb. The young urban professionals that worked here didn't move in, but they had an increased incentive to hang around when the nightclubs began appearing.

Buildings of interest within the suburb, other than Dowdney Mall, include St. Columbanus's Hospital [74,24], at the centre of Santlerville, which can see regular zombie activity because of the nearby mall, NT Building and revive point.

Additionally, SW Santlerville can see regular zombie activity because of it's proximity to Huntley Heights and Randallbank, with the principally targeted buildings being Dennis Row Fire Station (as it is an entry point) and St. Matthew's Hospital. Luckily, the head-quarters for the NE division of the Malton Fire Department are at the adjacent Burrough Row Fire Station.

Dowdney Mall appears to be completely ruined and devoid of life. Its defenders have scattered to nearby boltholes until the Mall Tour 09 wave passes on to meatier pastures. --Mallrat 06:50, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

January 23rd

Dowdney Mall was breached and all corners ransacked last night by Mall Tour 2009. Since then, the SW and SE corners have been reclaimed, though the northern half remains zombie-infested. Meanwhile, The Dribbling Beavers and their allies have holed themselves up in the Hall NT and St. Columbanus Hospital to make a stand against the hordes.

Attached is a recent Necrotech scan of the suburb's zombie levels (courtesy Calista Griffin): http://elbiman.el.funpic.de/Urban%20Dead%20-%20The%20City_1232663814917.png --WanYao 06:28, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

Santlerville's traps are lit, barricaded, and have a full stock of beer and chicken wings. Carry on. --Calista griffin 07:41, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

External Military # 25.96 MHz: "... maybe a dozen in Santlerville ... mostly just small groups ... power's on across most of the area ... infrastructure looks intact too ... the Dewes Building has lights on ..." --xoxo 08:25, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

December 20th

Well, as far as reconstruction efforts go, the Mall's back, afaik the NT's are relatively stable, CCPD is back, and it seems most things are lit. Looks like the living live another day.--Edward Grengle 03:59, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

Barricade Policy

Please refer to the Santlerville Barricade Plan page for the barricade map and details.

Breeches of the Barricade Policy should be reported to The Dribbling Beavers Message Board -- you do not need a forum account to post.

Entry Points

The Entry Points are listed on the Santlerville Barricade Plan page and labeled on the map at the bottom of this page.

Visitors should note that most of the buildings in Santlerville are maintained at EHB with a small collection of Entry Points at VSB scattered around the suburb. There is at least one of every important building type (Hospital, Police Department, Fire Station etc) kept at VSB+2 so new-comers to Malton have a chance for some fun in Santlerville too.
