Malton Defense Corporation, aka MDC, was initially founded by Smoked. After a year Smoked then gave leadership to Coldsteeel who founded the new forums. Leadership then passed to Master Guns who introduced several new policies which aimed to help the survivors in malton. Master guns promoted Valantine to Co-Chief Executive Officer. Master Guns then retired from Urban Dead leaving command of the MDC to Valantine who currently runs the corporation as Chief Executive Officer.


The Malton Defense Corporation has become the latest victim of the Global Credit Crunch.

Our creditors have withdrawn all funding and as such our operation in Malton has been halted. All empolyees are given the redundency package according to their contracts and will be recieving their final pay cheques within the next two weeks.
 
Management at the MDC regrets to inform all personel that this was an unavoidable decision based upon the recent productivity downturn amongst all areas of the company.

Our mission is to help defend survivors within Malton's borders as well as neutralize the undead threat. Our company is interested in helping survivors actually survive in Malton and help to slowly take back our city.
I can certainly say that membership with the MDC has been a brilliant experience for me and I have met many great people through this. Without these people the MDC and UD as a whole would not have lasted as long as it did, and for that I thank you. However the constant drop in active membership has led us to become a sporadic roaming band - even the hardliners have not been posting much over the past two months and as such last orders have been called and the bar is closed.
Thank you all for making UD interesting. I shall likely continue to play sporadically so you may see me around. I do not know how many of you are still active in game as I have only seen one MDC member in the past 2 months in Y-town. If you continue to play, good luck and have fun.
The MDC is gone after a long and glorious history. I wish all our past members, all 241 of them over the course of this group, good luck in everything you do in the future.

Being a company dedicated to helping out other survivors, we have a section in our forums for survivors to request aid should you be in trouble. It doesn't matter whether you are with a group or are a loner, we will try to help you as soon as we possibly can. We help all survivors except Player Killers.


The Fight for Malton

Early on, the MDC was located in Roftwood, but was then ransacked by the Ridleybank Resistance Front in late 2005. MDC lead the Pennville Revive Project in November of 2005 to help the victims of the Central Malton attacks, and help defend several high profile malls, such as Hildebrand Mall and Woodroffe Mall. Since then, MDC has participated in large raids against the suburb of Pennville and on Blesley Mall, as well as helping out holding the line in Roftwood against zombies in Ridleybank and Stanbury Village, taking the fight to the zombies and recapturing lost land. After a short stint in Penny Heights where they reassembled the team after a change in leadership, the MDC moved up and around the perimeter of Malton.
