Since he was a kid, Mark McCormick wished to join the Police Department in Malton. As soon as he reached his teenage years, Mark joined the Police Academy to become an officer. He graduated with good ranks and a special mention for his accurate shooting skill. | |||
Life seemed to be working out great. Mark married to his long time girlfriend Elizabeth and soon they had a child, Gabriel McCormick. Malton was safe and peaceful, and Mark strove to keep Malton like that. | |||
Then came an opportunity that Mark was expecting for: joining the S.W.A.T. As soon as they started recruiting Mark applied for training, and soon it started. Mark was doing well at S.W.A.T. training, and receiving compliments from the team, but things weren't going fine at home. | |||
Due to the heavy training, Mark became worn out and stressed out. He was rude to his wife, but never violent because his father always said "men can only be violent to other men, but never to a woman!". He also wasn't paying much attention to his infant son, and when training was coming to an end and graduation was drawing near, Lizzy decided to leave home, afraid of what Mark might come to be, and moved out to her relatives' home in Oregon. | |||
That was a major strike in Mark's life, he was about to get something he has always desired in his lifetime, the S.W.A.T. patch, and at the same time his family was tearing apart. But right after that the outbreak came, and the rest we all already know. | |||
