History

Club Morris was founded in 1926 by Morris Golding, the younger brother of John Golding founder of the neighboring Club Golding. Morris was a rather unsettled spirit so his brother had to take over the business in 1931. In the 1980´s Club Morris was an important address for Malton's electro-music community.

March 1st, 2008 The VZW sponsored the ninth leg of the First VZW Zedapalooza Concert Tour here at Club Morris. Concert goers were treated to Captain Clatter's Rum drinks compliments of the Upstairs Brewing Company from the Clatworthy Arms and Lowther Leaf Cigars straight from the Lowther Building. --Shazzelim 14:54, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
