I can relate to this so much. When I first joined Urban Dead, i didn't think I'd play it that much, and when my preferred handle "Vapor" was taken, I opted for a cheesy "l337sp34k" version (v4por). I'll be damned if I didn't end up with almost 20,000 XP earned over a span of three years. Somehow, despite the atrocious name, I ended up as a group leader of [[Flowers of Decay]]. I hated the name so much that I retired the character and started a new one. I hope others read this before they get too deep in the meta.
