Revive Request Response

Looking for a revive if possible at 87,90, thanks! --Specialfxlady 18:30, 11 October 2008 (BST)

Request served. Sorry about the wait. -- Atticus Rex mfu pif Δ 19:53, 11 October 2008 (BST)

Just wanted to say thanks for the rapid (1 day) response concerning my revive request, M.F.U. member JD Reinhardt brought me back to the land of the living today in Reganbank and I couldn't appreciate it more. I'm off to join my group in Darvell Heights to keep on fighting the good fight thanks to your help. Together we can rid Malton of the undead scourge and safely walk its streets once again! - GoodTimeCharlie (member, Cheap Ass Survivors)-Feb.15th,2008

Z!ng Zambah Z!ng

I would like to ask the MFU to be an official sponsor of my new zambah musical revue: Z!ng Zambah Z!ng. The show - to occur at an as-yet undetermined location, but somewhere in Central Malton - will probably result in some population spikes at nearby RPs. If I had an MFU officer or two on standby in a nearby NT for after show clean up, I think it would help ticket sales. Additionally, I would place the template of your choice on the production page. Please respond on the talk page of Z!ng Zambah Z!ng. If you know the names of the officers, please feel free to list them. Thank you for your consideration. - Headshot Hal Talk +1 Casting Call 15:41, 2 September 2008 (BST)

The Great Suburb Group Massacre, 2009

Check-Mark-Reviewed.jpg Group Confirmed.
This group was confirmed active. Thank you for your reply.

Occasionally, general checks are done of group activity. This may seem like a stupid question, but it's for all groups, regardless of size. Linkthewindow  Talk  11:23, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the inquiry, we appreciate the attempt to keep group listings clean. So, here's the confirmation; yes, we're active. G F J 15:05, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
What a long confirmation! =P Thanks! --YoHohoTalk 15:38, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

NecroWatch Liason

Hi! Do you guys have a liason officer with us over at NecroWatch? Didn't see any; Who knows...might come in handy--Dr Mycroft Chris 03:56, 24 June 2009 (BST)

Hello,
as far as I know, NecroWatch is not a regular group or organization. It's rather a community portal, a wiki project. Well, assigning a "liaison officer" the way it is often done with allied groups does not seem to make a lot of sense. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but apart from updating the NecroNet scans, you don't seem to do a lot, there seems to be no coordinated activity (are you coordinated at all?). Therefore, I do not see how the MFU and NecroWatch can carry out any joint operations for which a liaison officer would be useful. Perhaps the only thing we could do "together" is having MFU members update your scans, but that's not something we really need a lot of inter-group coordination for, I assume. Nevertheless, feel free of course contact me anytime (preferably on brainstock as that's faster, but the wiki works as well) if you need help or would like to discuss something with us.
By the way, I noticed that on the NecroWatch member list your affiliation says MEMS - are you sure of that? I was unable to find you on the DEM roster, nor did I see any SitReps. Where are you assigned? It seems unfortunately you're no longer an official member.
With best regards, G F J 22:27, 24 June 2009 (BST)
Strictly speaking, yes, you are correct. NW is not a group as such, with a well defined hierarchy or "leaders," ...that may change someday. My idea for a liason officer was predicated upon the idea that we have people all over the map who could be of help in a pinch. Well, it was a stab in the dark.
I was with MEMS for a while, I created the Template:MEMS Ribbons for them, but that was sometime ago, went through the training, etc... Was assigned to Penny Heights. Just didn't seem to stick, though. No one else was in PH and the others were several 'burbs away, not really able to offer assistance very much. Seemed I could do better for my suburb just on my own, so I let my involvement on brainstock lapse; (good people who I trained with, Allison Wolf, Choppers McGee, Goofy McCoy. Haven't seen KristiOTD around lately.) Anyway, as a result, I consider myself an honorary member, proudly so, thus the inclusion. I will always help out a DEM member in need. I even have a page of mine dedicated to MEMS, (see:User:Dr Mycroft Chris/MEMS).
Thanks for your timely response--Dr Mycroft Chris 01:56, 25 June 2009 (BST)
Thanks for your answer. Well, please do not misunderstand my previous reply - if you or another NecroWatch employee needs help, we'll be happy to assist. After all, to make your scans, you need functioning NT buildings. As we need these as well, that obviously is something that's very congruent with our goals. The "typical" concept of a liaison officer assigned to a group for planning joint operations, coordinating in-game activities and so on does not really apply to a rather loosely organized wiki project such as NecroWatch, but that doesn't mean we cannot keep in touch, of course. If you want a name to contact, feel free to take myself.
