User:Headshot Hal
Summary
Alt user | |
Headshot Hal has alts but DOESN'T Zerg. |
In Malton, my characters are Headshot Hal (MPD), KeepOnTryin and Oldsman442 (PK).
In Monroeville, my characters are Wes Monroeville and Monroe Bill.
Headshot Hal was my first persona. Hal is an officer in the MPD, currently patrolling Kempsterbank. He is strictly a survivor character, and when killed will immediately seek a revive. I really make an effort to keep him from getting too trench-tastic, he cades, heals, revives and yes, occassionally kills zombies. But you'll never see him with 20 shotguns standing outside yelling about katanas.
KeeponTryin was an unaffiliated survivor character, but he got killed and has been playing as a zombie for while. I'm honestly not sure what I will do if he gets combat revived. I'll probably throw him off a building so he can stay a zombie. I'm beginning to realize that this game is more fun for zombies. Of course that's only true after you have some skills. For newbies, this game is no fun at all if you're a zombie.
Oldsman442 is a free agent. He's a quasi-PKer, except that he kills zombies too. He has also been known to fill his entire encumbrance with FAKs and wander around healing random people. Or zombies. Really whatever he feels like doing he does. He's been known to take out generators for no good reason. He loves to kill radios because they are really annoying. I hate to call him dual nature because he has a single nature that manifests whether he is dead or undead. He usually doesn't really make any effort to get revived or killed. But sometimes he does.
Wes Monroeville is my only character who started life as a zombie. It's pretty slow going in relatively unpopulated Monroeville. Mostly he's been feeding on other zombies, gathering his strength. Since he can get, like 5XP a day before getting killed, I expect him to be a threatening zombie sometime in 2010.
Monroe Bill was a straight up PKer. Then I realized that Monroeville search rates suck and I'm letting him expire.

Policies Supported
Headshot Hal supports the following policies:
No Random/Combat Revives
Reviving zombies you don't recognize is DANGEROUS. Despite what many survivors think, some people are in fact better off undead. In the case of a happy zombie or a PKer, they need to remain undead for everybody's safety. Remember - THE ANGRY LIVING ARE FAR MORE DANGEROUS THAN THE HAPPILY UNDEAD. Please adhere to the publicized revive points and the Sacred Ground policy. Better for you, better for your neighbors.
Planned Revivification
This user or group supports organized revivification. |
Pay It Forward
You get a revive, you give a revive. Not only is it good Karma, but it also speeds up the revive process for all survivors. Headshot Hal recommends always carrying a syringe just for this purpose. Also: If you put "Pays It Forward" on your DEM revive request you will move to the top of my revive queue
Pay It Forward Supporter
This User or Group Pays It Forward. Get a revive, give a revive. |
Sacred Ground Policy
Tired of getting headshot? Head on down to the local cemetary. I won't shoot you, you don't bite me and everybody's happy. Just don't complain if I don't revive you. Suck it up and embrace your dual nature.

Uniform Barricading Policy
It's happened to all of us: You are low on AP, low on ammunition, and you run for the cover of the nearest Police Department, Zed in hot pursuit. You frantically pull on the door, only to find that somebody has overbarricaded.
Please don't lock your fellow survivors out in the street. Follow the posted 'cade plans and tag all entry points.

This User or Group supports the Uniform Barricading Policy by actively maintaining barricades according to local plan or UBP standard. |
KeepOnTryin
Proud To Be Dead | |
This user is a zombie and proud of it. |
KeepOnTryin was at a luau at the time of the outbreak and thinks he's experiencing the after effects of some truly great rum punch. He can often be found wandering around Shearbank trying to remember where he parked his car. Nobody has ever thought to remind him that he took the train. Of course, it wouldn't do much good now because he's got the brain rot.
Oldsman442
OldsMan442 is currently on a quest to rebuild Nixbank. There don't actually seem to be any other survivors in Nixbank, though, so progress has been slow. Progress is also hampered by the fact that Oldsman442 supports dual nature gameplay and spends roughly equal amounts of time alive and undead. When he is undead he tries to destroy Nixbank. Living OldsMan442 doesn't like undead OldsMan442 very much.
Oldsman442 also just might PK you. He gets bored sometimes.
