Description
St. Isidore's Hospital is a hospital located in the suburb of Paynterton. St. Isidore's Hospital is the most northwestern-most hospital of the three located in Paynterton.
Historically, St. Isidore's Hospital was a former leading hospital in tuberculosis research and treatment within Malton when the hospital was first built in 1959. In the years prior to the "Malton Incident" however city funding cuts had drastically reduced the hospital's research budget as downsizing, caused in no small part due to the opening of Leo General Hospital. This would have eventually led to the closing of the hospital itself had not the zombie plague swept through the suburb before that could happen. Post-incident the hospital was converted into a safe house for survivors, offering both medical treatment and shelter.
Mandate
The staff at St. Isidore's Hospital try to always support the following ideals:
1) To provide medical assistance to anyone and everyone who enters.
2) To cure the infected.
3) To keep its doors open to lower level survivors, if possible.
It is asked that survivors please note whether or not there is a portable generator within the hospital, and whether it has fuel or not. As a working portable generator is required for the Surgery skill it is asked the survivors provide support by replacing either the generator when destroyed or refilling its fuel supply when its exhausted. This in turn will allow the medical staff to provide more efficient aid to the injured.

Barricade Policy
This building should be Very Strongly barricaded at all times. This is in accordance with the mutually agreed-upon Paynterton Barricade Plan set forth by local survivor groups, who routinely work together to monitor that the barricades for this building are at the aforementioned level. This building is meant to serve as a safehouse for all of Malton's survivors.
Survivors who find the building's barricades below their assigned level are asked to assist in raising them back up in order to help ensure the safety of all the survivors staying inside the building. Any survivor found lowering the barricades may be directly "put to the question" by any vigilante-minded survivor who catches the culprit in the act. If this happens the accused survivor must present a valid reason for their actions or be labeled a zombie spy/death cultist and be judged accordingly. So always be cautious lest you find yourself summarily executed for crimes against humanity.

- December 27th, 2007: St. Isidore's Hospital is survivor controlled and well barricaded. It is kept up and running, with a generator, a room of stuffed animals "borrowed" from a nearby museum, and numerous other survivors to keep you company as you hear the zombies lurching outside in the night and protect you from the rogue zombie intruder while you sleep. Being a hospital, there are first-aid kits, and survivors with doctor training. There are the random break-ins by lone zombies, but nothing major has happened recently.
