Enlisted in the army 10 years ago and was on leave in Malton for his brother's funeral the day before the outbreak. His mother wouldn't leave the house so he stayed with her. When the army established contact with the survivors in Malton he persuaded his superiors to let him help on his own under the condition he would send reports as often as possible. He wanders the streets of Malton looking for survivors and aiding them when possible. He wanders too much to join any group or cause for more than a short time. He does however support a few causes.
