Small apology directed at you

In case my re to you sounded snippy in the vote on the MoL NT update, I apologize about that - I'm dealing with a couple of people who's method of debate involves calling me several swear words and I think it unnecessarily spilled over to you. I just was getting a bit bewildered why people felt that they low level zombies need an NT building in order to get a revive since there are cemeteries and rps and grafitti leading to them everywhere. I can remove my Re to you if you want. I don't have any animosity towards your vote --Tselita 03:35, 26 April 2008 (BST)

Don't worry about it. I don't think I explained myself very well, actually. I've had friends who've started playing the game as newbies and who really don't know how to find revives. They'll follow instructions from graffiti or look at a map on the wiki, and go to a revive point. Then a day later they ask me why they're not getting revived. They tend to be in wrecked or semi-wrecked areas with long queues, next to a ruined NT building. They don't realize the NT building is ruined because they don't even know that it is an NT. You can bet that if the nearest NT is ruined, there probably aren't many people dishing out revives. There's also a bit of a problem with assuming that sacred ground policy means that you can actually get a revive reasonably quickly at a cemetery. If a cemetery isn't near an NT, it's quite possible that it's not checked very often. The point is - if you want fast revives, you need to be near an operational NT, at a revive point. If you can't tell which buildings are NTs without out-of-game sources, it's harder to tell if the RP you found is operational. I did like your suggestion, for the flavor. It just seems like it will have no impact on gameplay except for the very newest players, who are most vulnerable to getting lost, getting killed, getting stuck outside, and to spending a week trying to figure out how to get a revive. --Jasonjason 18:31, 27 April 2008 (BST)
Ya, thing is I -am- a relatively new player :) I never had any problem getting revived. In fact when I am in an NT and there are zombies outside, usually people shoot them, not revive them :) I appreciate that you liked my idea's flavor - I was doing it more because it was logical than any other reason, and maybe to encourage zombies to buy MoL sooner. That being said, while I don't agree with your reasoning, it is at least well-explained and I do appreciate that you made your vote in a polite manner unlike Fric and Frac (DCC and Karek) and I again do apologize for having been snippy - you were definitely not the target of my frustration. :) --Tselita 19:54, 27 April 2008 (BST)
I wouldn't suggesting standing directly outside of an NT. What I mean is that if you're at a marked revive point, with (for example) 3 buildings in the blocks adjacent to it... with NT employment, you can see right off the bat that one of those buildings is an NT, and you can tell if it's ruined, unruined, or powered. If the NT that's nearest to the revive point is ruined, it could be days before you get a revive. If you're standing at a cemetery that's not very near an NT, it could also be a while. The idea is that without looking at the wiki or a map, a person can figure out how many blocks away the nearest NT is, and whether there are likely to be people inside it who will service the revive point. --Jasonjason 13:01, 28 April 2008 (BST)

UDInventory/Profile Viewer compatibility

Thank you for bringing this to my attention! If it's a small amount of code to pull it off, I'll gladly look into fixing this issue. Haliphax

Well, I realize it's been a while, but I figured I would follow this up. I can't find any "Profile Viewer" script, and as such, have been unable to get them to work together. Sorry. :( --  HaliphaxTCS 21:28, 20 July 2009 (BST)
