Sith Page
Absolutely hilarious and one of the freshest ideas/events that I have seen in UD. If there is anything I can do -- either from a writing or wiki perspective -- please let me know. I can't wait to watch this latest offering from the PKA unfold. -MHSstaff 05:44, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I'll definitely hit you up for ideas. I know Two Headed Sex Beast was looking for witness shots earlier today. Talk to him about it if you seem him around. He's helping with the contacts list. ~ 06:17, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

- We would be delighted to have you on as a journalist. I'll let you have your own page. Please use Sith of November: Order 66/Mos Eisley Cantina. Let me know if you want me to style it up or I can do that afterwards or you can use your own style if you'd like. We're easy. Can't wait to see your addition to SoN. ~ 01:19, 8 November 2012 (UTC)

SoN Map
While I do love the work I did on the BB3 minimap, might I suggest you avoid using it, and instead use something better? I made the TenTenMap after I got tired of reinventing the wheel each time someone needed a new city map, and I'm guessing it meets your needs quite a bit better than the BB3 minimap. Right out of the box, it can do everything the BB3 minimap does, plus it doesn't use any secondary templates, so it's a lot easier to work with. —Aichon— 17:22, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
- Quick side note: if you do want to go with the BB3 minimap, you should know that you're not using it correctly right now. The template you need to be grabbing is actually {{BB3mapper}}, which is essentially just a place to dump data for the map. It then can be passed a variable telling it which template to use to display the data, with BB3minimap and BB3bigmap being the ones we used in BB3 (I modeled it after the barricade plans, which do the same sort of thing). The TenTenMap kinda wraps the design and data up into one template call, and I just added functionality to mimic what BB3mapper does while being able to chop out the need for having an extra template per style. —Aichon— 17:22, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
- Aye. Thanks for the help. It was late when I started on that idea and I plan on coming back to it tonight. I just placed it there to get a feel for the look. I thought I had reverted that edit but guess not. I do love the BB3 map look and I'm glad there is an alternative. Looks pretty sexy. I'll hit you up if I get stuck and thanks again for the help. ~ 18:20, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
nice catch
but report first. place bot template second. --User:Sexualharrison06:58, 12 November 2012
- Yeah didn't realize you had already reported. I don't always report spambots, but when I do, I template first and report second. The template has a link to A/VB/B so it makes it easy to spot in RC, edit in the template, copy username, click link to report. I'm sure we all have our own methods, though. ~ 07:07, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
- I'm with Vapor on this one, way easier :) PB&J 13:59, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
- i just copy the name from RC into the bot template than use the link from there to take me to the page. helps get the credit with so many people hunting spambits nowadays --User:Sexualharrison14:46, 12 November 2012

PKA forums
Hello Vapor!
I suspect you might know/be an admin or mod. at the PKA forums, I've been registered and posted for about a week, was wondering if you could help speed up the process a bit?
Thanks! --Leiter 18:17, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hey there. I am not a mod at this time but I will poke one for you so that we can get your account validated. Shouldn't be long now. Sorry about the wait. ~ 19:33, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
Cade templates
I've been working on a cade template to add to each building, which indicate the local suburb barricade plan and UBP suggested barricade levels. It's supposed to look a bit like the status report templates and would fit right below them on the location's pages.
These are the ones I have so far. They're a bit rough, and I only created the EHB text templates the examples need so far, just to show basic functionality. Any suggestions? PB&J 21:15, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
- One tic. I'll take a look once I'm done with the FA Cycle stuff I'm implementing. ~ 21:17, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
- Looks good so far. You should change the line of code <td>{{{{{4}}}cade.jpg}}</td> to <td>[[{{{4}}}cade.jpg]]</td> in the fifth line of the template User:Peralta/CadeTemp2. Was there some more specific input you're looking for or help with a specific part of the code? ~ 21:53, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
- Well, I'm just looking for feedback on how it looks and what it contains, and also for your opinion whether I should go with Option 1 or 2? And thanks, I didn't see that :) PB&J 21:59, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
- I think stylisticly it looks pretty good, though it may be hard to say at this point without any images. Perhaps put some images on and place it on a location page (you can always revert and use the page history if you just want to use an example). As for options, why not use both options. If the Local and the Uniform barricade policy match for a location, use option 2, if not, use option 1. This could probably be accomplished through an "If" Template combination. ~ 22:07, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
- Currently, option 2 would fit both needs, and would need a sepparate text and image for each of the 16 possible combo's, be it differences beween the two plans (EHB-VSB, RUIN-VSB, etc.) or when they dictate the same (like right now: EHB-EHB). PB&J 22:11, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
- Ah. I'd say go with option 2, then. 16 templates is not so much. There are about as many used for the various danger levels. I hope you've kept in mind that not all of the burbs have a local barricade policies. The template should have some way of handling situations like these (I think that they do. Honestly haven't had time to really pick apart the code yet). ~ 22:20, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
- Nope, currently it can't handle a missing local barricade plan, but I completely forgot the if-template, so I'm going to take a look at the entire thing. And just to sketch it all out for ya: I'm going to have to make 18 text templates, 18 cade images and a symbol or image for each of the building types + the additional work for a missing barricade plan. Oh, and the template will be installed in all 10.000 location pages. I hate myself already. PB&J 22:28, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
- Yep, looks like a pretty big project. Might want to take a look at using AutoWikiBrowser (more info here). It is a semi-bot that can handle some automated wiki editing. It can be configured to work on UDWiki (though I haven't tried it yet, the manual says it can be done). Of course, with each template inclusion being unique, you may well be stuck doing things manually. Good luck. ~ 22:40, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks, but I'm pretty sure I'm done faster if I just go manually, since it has 4 variables, 2 of which are decided on by users. Well, I'm just going to take my time and work them all out before implementing anywhere else. When I install it, I want it done, rather than WIP. (I'll probably use one or more of the pages on my mainenance list as test subjects, since I already know what's on those pages). PB&J 22:50, 23 November 2012 (UTC)

Poor Stub
Help!
I was trying to comment on the de-escalation vote page, and I think I messed up the numbers in the against vote because before they counted 1-8 and now they are separated into 1-2 and 1-6. I really don't want to get banned for this, and I know there are people here who will have a field day with what will look like me tampering with votes. Can you please find my mistake and fix it before anyone has a cow? Thanks! Kitakaze 10:14, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
- Nevermind, its been fixed. Thank god. Kitakaze 15:08, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah someone beat me to it. Listen, the wiki is a different place that what you probably remember it. A/VB cases are less common and handled differently. Its much more discussion based, people just hanging out and trying to hold on to what is more or less a dying website related to a dying game. If you're serious about coming back, best to just sit back and chill and let the process take over. I don't know how the vote will end but worrying about it won't change things. More likely its making things worse. Good luck and all, though. ~ 16:02, 20 February 2013 (UTC)

Category:Inclusions
What's the go with all the categories being included in Category:Inclusions? Surely they don't fit there? Is it a template substitution issue? -- boxy 08:35, 12 May 2013 (BST)
- Yep, those are all "inclusion only" pages. Pages which aren't easily linkable anywhere on the wiki. Its a project I started back in the the orphan template days. If a group or user made a group box or nav template or some other inclusion only type of page, I would create a category for them (i.e Category:CORAM), the page would be linked to on the group category page, the page would be categorized in Category:Inclusions and the group would be notified via the {{GroupCat}} template. The idea was that if we were creating internal links to orphans, there was a better way to handle it than the old method of simply linking them on group talk pages. Category:Orphans was also created around that time and the old {{orphan}} template was replaced by the {{OrphanPage}} and {{OrphanAlert}} templates. Admiitedly, the project faded into obscurity mere months after it was all set up. Nobody cares about the poor orphans any more. ~ 16:23, 12 May 2013 (UTC)

Vapor, I'm not going to continue this with you. My dispute was between PK. Obviously, we had no feud with Flowers of Decay and the wishy washy comments left on Revs page were not taken as far as this. Furthermore, I don't see where you fit in into any of this except as an "extravagant" peanut gallery that's a fair waste of my time. -.- 07:35, 22 May 2013 (BST)
Take that back, turns out I liked some of them. Thanks. I'll forget to give credit though. -.- 08:54, 22 May 2013 (BST)
- You seem to be under some kind of dilusion that the wiki is a place for private discussion. Everyone can see how badly you all are behaving. Paynetrain tells someone to "shut the fuck and crawl in a hole and die" and then immediately goes to RadicalWhig's talk page and asks about copying our templates. Why are you surprised at all that one of would call him out? We also have it on good authority that your in-game actions are equally indescrete and deplorable. Radio spam, name-calling, shitty grafitti, pitful Blackmore sieging. If it walks like flotsam, and quacks like flotsam, it must be flotsam. It simply is yet to be seen if you're flotsam of the irredeemable variety. ~ 15:42, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
Finally, along comes someone full enough of themselves to make the TZH look like mendicants. What have you two NWO shits done besides mill around and uselessly reorganize squads and feed the zambahz with your poorly-organized grabasstic corpses? At least the other flotsam survivor groups have been hanging around long enough to fabricate some credibility for their circle-jerking. You fellows are the epitome of survivor uselessness: arrogant, ignorant, useless and all talk. And what the fuck are you doing with your "multi-playstyle" bullcrap? At least Org13 cops to doing all sorts of self-contradictory junk only for the lulz. You act like your disorganized, random shit will actually make a difference (hint: it won't).
Now, paney, listen up, I decided to leave the conversation at my talk page as it was because I thought I had been rude enough to you. You were spamming all over the wiki and I interpreted your message as more spam and so I probably went overboard in condemning you. But after seeing you talking shit to my friend Vapor and our buddies at the PK? I am tempted to drag my FOD character over to Dulston solely to grief your members out your sad little glee club. And it wouldn't be hard either, you guys have all the coordination and grace of a severed dick flapping in the airstream of an overclocked jet turbine. At worst, I would rip the utter shit out of you guys. I'm not saying I'm that good, I'm saying you're that terrible.
I mean, seriously, who applies to the FoD when your alts' profiles are full of references pissing and wiping balls? I understand you've probably hit puberty since then, paney, and thus removed all that embarrassing infantile stuff out of your char descriptions. Fine. Okay. Then you, cyberslop, had to go and spam the wiki. Now, that's a pretty standard newb mistake, spamming everyone you know, thinking you're hot enough shit that everyone will want a piece of your useless ass (hint: they don't). But then you go and spam us, the FoD, with "status updates" on the Ass End of Malton (I refuse to use the Dul-word for that zerg-filled shitstain you've chosen to infest) after we've turned down your substandard offer to go gank random people alongside a bunch of nobodies. And THEN you have the audacity and/or lack of reading comprehension to spam Killer Scarecrow, one of our oldest members who is committed the FoD, with your INCREDIBLY pretentious "NWO WANTS YOU" crap (because you're SOOO important that your offer HAS to expire so klaim it nao!!!!!111*). Were you butthurt at the lack of turnout? Well, I'm just wildly guessing here, that perhaps it would help recruitment if you actually shut up and earned some respect/friendship somewhere, instead of WOWing over the cum distance of your latest circle jerk.
And paney, would it kill you to punctuate properly? It's not that I want to be rude to you, although there is that too (you deserve it), but frankly, you're making yourself look worse every time you defile the wiki with your unique interpretation of the English language. Seriously, you are literally advertising your stupidity, good sir. It's like going out in public wearing a necktie backwards. Everyone else on the wiki spells like they are past 10 y.o., I mean even the massive fucking tards at TZH can handle elementary grammar, so it really sends a bright, honking "HELL YEAH I AM A MORON AND PROUD OF IT" when you can't even properly handle a fucking space bar (let alone your group members).
*This is sarcastic mispelling, just so you know. You know, sarcasm, that thing where I say one thing and you go fuck youself? Yeah, that thing.
Alright, I'm done now. Have a great day, you two spamming fucks and my condolences to the other poor saps you goaded into your little Jonestown-without-the-balls-to-kill-yourself glee club.--RadicalWhig 21:07, 22 May 2013 (BST)
PS. Vapor, be sure to make a "pwned by a massive flame-wall from the FoD" achievo for them too. They need all the circle-jerking aids they can get after they're gonna be done crying.--RadicalWhig 21:08, 22 May 2013 (BST)

- Even with all his wizardly foresight, Trips, like all the rest of us, failed to see the goontrain a'comin. He had either me, Spider, or DDR pegged as sitter in the crat seat that election and none of us stood a chance. I still say its better that Trips has my soul instead of the wiki. I had a near miss later in the year when I tied with boxy for the seat. ~ 03:42, 20 August 2013 (UTC)

A/PM links in your userspace
Hi! I just wanted to let you know that I'm currently migrating all the A/PM archives into the A/SA space. Your subpage here and a few others related to it have a large number of links to the A/PM archives, which will probably need to be adjusted to point to the new locations. Do I have permission to edit in your userspace and alter them? (I'd probably do it once everything's migrated but before the redirects are deleted.) Thanks! Bob Moncrief EBD•W! 14:08, 20 August 2013 (BST)
- Unless you or anyone else finds it useful, that page can be deleted. I think I only used it for the Grimmies. Forgot I even made it. ~ 15:40, 20 August 2013 (UTC)

GSGM Volunteering
Hi Vapor! Thanks so much for volunteering to help out with the 2013 Great Suburb Group Massacre! We are currently in the process of collecting and organizing the information on what groups are listed in what suburbs, and the radio frequency listings. This phase of the project should last until roughly October 1st, so feel free to head over to the Volunteer Organization page anytime to help out. And thanks again! Bob Moncrief EBD•W! 21:28, 12 September 2013 (BST)
GSGM Update
Hello Vapor, and thanks again for volunteering to help out with the GSGM 2013! The main phase of this year's GSGM is just beginning, which means there are a number of tasks for volunteers to help out with. These include adding information to suburb News sections and contacting groups on their talk pages, as well as some other items. Feel free to check out our volunteer page for all the details. Have a great day! Bob Moncrief EBD•W! 13:55, 19 October 2013 (BST)
Signature
Can you please give me the instructions on how to do the exact same thing with my signature here as you did with yours? :) http://wiki.urbandead.com/images/f/fb/2.png 21:25, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
- Try checking here, here, and here, then look at the code for Vapor's signature. —Aichon— 23:40, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
- Create a page called User:Dragic/sig. On that page, use the code [[file:2.png|x14px|link=User:Dragic]]. In your preferences, type {{subst:User:Dragic/sig}} where it says New Signature. That should do it. ~ 17:52, 11 January 2014 (UTC)
