Dartside is a suburb of Malton, located in the south of the city. In times past, it was a industrial and working-class neighborhood, inhabited, like Greentown, largely by immigrants or the close descendents thereof. After the industrial boom ceased in the '50s, the suburb fell on hard times, with only four of the factories remaining open and the empty lots turning into wasteland by the mid-'70s. Although experience economic difficulties, Dartside retained a large number of railroads, which during its better days carried raw materials to the factories and finished good away. The suburb has a high number of hospitals. Before the outbreak, it had the 4th largest population of all suburbs.

Break-ins are occurring very often, there's large hordes about, and safe places are hard to find. The area around Dunford Lane Fire Station is full of zombies, there must be around 40 or so there. Most of the buildings are destroyed. --Skippy42 20:08, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
