You are inside a classroom of Pridmore Way School, a high school. Every wall has shelves built to the ceiling, every surface a book on it. Both make narrow walking corridors of the classroom floor space. Lamps hung from the ceiling make buzzing noises as they sectionally light the room. Also here is Ross (55HP).

Somebody has written the library has no organizational structure onto the door, to borrow or lend is theft or generosity onto a shelf, and answers are administered to questions irregularly onto the floor. Many are signed as the management, some crossed-out, others not.

You say, "See who they are, go from there." Reason works within the confines of its data. Therefore gather data and reason will flourish. Tammy is small and agile, and could sneak into an undiscovered location; she could listen, collect data, report back. What were they doing? Did they keep within the same area, or were there a few who came and went? What were they discussing? An alternative is more upfront: approach their location and introduce yourselves. You are not sure how you would go about and do that. From the streets, calling out? You tell Ross both the subversive and the conspicuous route to meeting them.

Since your last turn:
Ross says "The basic idea is sound and preferable. Acting it out is the difficult part." (47 seconds ago)
Ross says "Surely the upfront option leaves us too exposed. It's likely to get us killed, one way or another." (33 seconds ago)
Ross says "It's hard to say what the result would be, good or bad, if we sent Tammy in to spy. If she is discovered? It depends on the mood of their reception to her." (21 seconds ago)
Ross says "Learning about them, without greatly exposing ourselves, seems to make the most sense. Supposing that we have the opportunity." (15 seconds ago)
Ross says "Perhaps, if the time comes, and we should go out to meet them, this may be the path to choose." (7 seconds ago)
Possible actions:
"How is everyone doing?" "Are you certain Sam is coming back?" "Why is Doug sick?" "What's your opinion on Volker?" "Why are the lights flickering? Who's on the radio?" "What's your opinion on Pridmore?" "What kind of place is Latrobe, exactly?" "Why are there so few dead around?" "How did the world get like this?" "I'm done asking questions."
Inventory:
You carry a knife; a journal and a notebook; a bloodied radio and a flare gun. You have a shotgun (2), a pistol (12) and three spare magazines inside your vest pouches. You are wearing a tactical vest, blue jeans, a white T-shirt and a pair of shoes.
