Talk:East Grayside
Moved News 2008
August 2008
August 20th East Grayside has found itself under renewed attack by Zombies, much of it due to the MOB. Snakehound has declared that they will not be reside in the suburb in while the MOB are there. FURIG will be focusing on revives for the duration of the MOB's stay in East Grayside, due to Snakehound's leave of abscence, FURIG will provide revives at the Wicklen Monument, until the Angerstein Building becomes untenable. In the event of Angerstein Building's occupation, Gutch Park shall be utilized as our primary revive point.

Suggestion to abandon two Revive Points
Currently East Grayside has 6 listed revive points. This is clearly too many and can lead to confusion for the newly dead wishing to actually be helped and to techs wishing to help out.
We need to remove at least two - preferably three - of these listed RPs from this list and let dedicated techs have an easier job getting to those who need a needle.
I strongly suggest we abandon Prigg Alley [64, 86] and The Bligh Monument [63, 87]. I am not sure who initially chose to put RPs next to PDs, but it seems like a poor choice. These two RPs are not only adjacent to PDs, but are within "wandering" distance of FOUR PDs, total (including one in northern Hollomstown). This leads to an incredibly high number of XP farming of waiting revive-ees by low levels who are unaware, low levels desperate for XPs, and trenchcoats/jerks.
This suggested course of action includes not only removing the locations from this list, but also retagging the locations and possibly even shouting to all Mrh?ing zeds in the area to try another spot.
With the current LUE infatuation with East Grayside, efficient revives are even more important. evilbob 16:53, 23 August 2007 (BST)
- Is someone covering the other RP listed? I am hanging out at Baynton Street [66, 83] and a fellow zed that wanted a revive got killed and people are starting to shoot/hack away at me.Steelgaze 08:43, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- UPDATE! I just saved myself the trouble and moved myself to Wicklen Monument. At least someone was kind of enough to spray paint that it is an RP :D See you guys on the living side soon eough.Steelgaze 08:55, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- Whoa, me again, this is getting boring! Seems like my luck at the monument was not very good. First comes Michael Jacker who tries to kill me. I assume he ran out of AP since he stopped hitting me. Then comes littleangel to finish me off. Thanks for following the spray paint :( For anyone that cares, here are sceenshots. http://img297.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ud2vl5.png http://img341.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ud1zj1.png
E Grayside has SEVEN revive points, WTF??? Get it together... --WanYao 11:41, 13 April 2008 (BST)
Barricade Plan, and SIGN YOUR POSTS!
First thing I want to say before anything else . . . START SIGNING YOUR POSTS, PEOPLE. Jeez. Anyway, are we following any sort of barricade plan for this suburb? If not, we can either go with one of the templated plans out there, or I can come up with one in my copious free time. If so, then I suggest we list it so that the groups around here can start following it. I've had some complaints from newbies and zombies alike about this, and I'd like to see it fixed. ~u t STARS

It seems people keep killing the Z's, in addition to Z's killing the Z's and people aren't being revivified. What's going on? -Cap'n Bob 00:00, 25 April 2006 (BST)
- SA is now Operating that revive point but only with requests using our revive tool.

The Malton Uprising
Why are they listed as a hostile group? There only hostile to the DEM.Besides, there not a group, there more like an event.--Gamestriker4 19:25, 25 October 2008 (BST)
Despite they're claim to kill only DEM members, they kill people whom they consider DEM affilaiated, a member of FURIG was raped and killed by snakehound members in the name of the malton uprising. They're more a loose umbrella group than an event; an event has an end and unfortunatley the MU just seems to get worse and worse with every passing day.
