The city is in chaos. The emergence of a deadly virus has turned the city's people into mindless, flesh eating zombies. The terrified people of Malton have no where left to run, the borders locked down after the sudden government quarantine more than one year ago. Murder, burglary, and panic run rampant in the streets. Survivors strive to stay alive, making their way through the derelict buildings, rebuilding their fragmented society from the rubble upwards. And the dead rise up and thrive, trailing through the ruined streets of the city, milling between buildings and clawing through makeshift barricades and diversions, trying to claim the city as their own. But one group rises to meet this threat.

Leadership

Malton Defense Corporation, aka MDC, was initially founded by Smoked. After a year Smoked then gave leadership to Coldsteeel who founded the new forums. Leadership then passed to Master Guns who introduced several new policies which aimed to help the survivors in Malton. Master guns promoted Valantine to Co-Chief Executive Officer. Master Guns then retired from Urban Dead leaving command of the MDC to Valantine. On Saturday 4th October 2008, Valantine disbanded the MDC due to inactivity. On Tuesday 12th May 2009, former member BRAD0CK reinstated the MDC as acting Chief Executive Officer.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to help defend survivors within Malton's borders as well as neutralize the undead threat. We strive to barricade and repair buildings according to the UBP, kill or revive zombies according to the RRP, and heal/aid survivors, all to the best of our ability. Our company is interested in helping survivors actually survive in Malton and help to slowly take back our city.

The Fight for Malton

Early on, the MDC was located in Roftwood, but was then ransacked by the Ridleybank Resistance Front in late 2005. MDC lead the Pennville Revive Project in November of 2005 to help the victims of the Central Malton attacks, and help defend several high profile malls, such as Hildebrand Mall and Woodroffe Mall. Since then, MDC has participated in large raids against the suburb of Pennville and on Blesley Mall, as well as helping out holding the line in Roftwood against zombies in Ridleybank and Stanbury Village, taking the fight to the zombies and recapturing lost land. After a short stint in Penny Heights where they reassembled the team after a change in leadership, the MDC moved up and around the perimeter of Malton. The MDC has recently been restocking and recuperating after a tactical withdrawal from Mockridge Heights due to the encroaching LUE hordes. After doing so, the MDC hit Tollyton, moving from there to Kempsterbank for brief restocking, before returning to Tollyton.

Current Area of Operations:

Operation: Restructure - MDC is currently in the midst of a restructuring and reforming to due to it's long inactivity and reformation by BRAD0CK.
